First off I pulled them out of the box , wow ,looks awesome, there are heavy then most, fit good even though I fit in between a sm & med , my left knee has no acl & mcl, pcl has been replaced. here the kicker , I took a nasty get off hit the deck so hard broke my finger,rolled my wrist , cracked my fox 3 helmet. these knee braces did there job for sure. I will say do not tighten your boots straps up. bottom line is this braces work amazing if you have not so good knees, thanks have a blessed day

Good if you can afford a new pair every month
i bought these in early june 2012 and they lasted until september 2nd 2012 right up until i tore my acl while wearing these braces. when this happend the braces were in horrible condition and i maintained these accordingly as the manual said to do. But after the first month i noticed they were getting in worse and worse condition until the incident happend. so as the title says if you get a new pair every month or every race like the pro's do they're great knee braces but other than that they are junk and i have the sergery scars to proove it.

No Good For Me
I have used the original Cell braces for almost ten years and loved them, so when the Ultra Cell braces came out I was very excited to update. They seemed a bit bulky when I first tried them on but so does a lot of gear, so I put them away till I had a chance to ride a week or so later. I was very happy to find I could adjust them even with my pants on. The problems started as soon as I began to ride. The braces limited my range of motion and caused serious chaffing on the back of my legs. I tried to adjust them by starting from scratch but they just made riding a chore. I could not use my foot controls properly and had to remove the braces to even continue riding. When I got a chance to really check out the problem I found the Boa fasteners were contacting each other and that was limiting my range of motion. I found them to be a very poor design and chose to go back to my original cell braces which are no longer available. I sent in the original Cells for a refurbish. I would like to add that once again MotoSport was awsome in helping me deal with the situation!

Expensive, but worth it
Very expensive. but overall great product. Many adjustments too ensure proper fit. The added confidence and security make spending the money worth it. I have not "crash" tested these, and hope i never have to. but i feel they will do what they are designed to. Takes a little while to get used to riding with them. and kickstarting proved difficult at first. I would feel naked without them now.

Great braces!
Comfortable, i thought i would notice them bugging my knees more than they do. Once you get them adjusted fitment wise you wont even notice them. Also once you get them fitted then you can put them on and pull them off very easily with the BOA system. The sizing chart told me i needed a large pair so i bought them and a friend bought some mediums. It seems i could have ordered the mediums and they fit me a better. So the sizing is a little larger than what they say, if your on the bottom end of the large chart i would say go with a medium pair. The knee cap has padding glued on the inside. It catches the lower portion so the padding is getting pulled off, they could have used a little better glue.

My right knee was blown out 2 years ago, so I bought a pair of these to protect the repaired knee, and the good knee. I just got back from racing the Baja 500 with these braces: here is my review. Over a long period of time, blisters formed on my knee caps. I think the main issue is that my pants are too tight. The braces seem to offer great support. I do feel secure while wearing them. There is a fine line between having the adjustments too tight, and causing leg pump, or having them to loose, and not staying in place. The movement is very smooth and the range of motion is plenty for dirt biking and snowboarding. The knee part of the brace swivel which allows the perfect motion for shifting/braking. The connector to the boot offers great security. The bad thing is the bulkiness. When I first rode with these braces, my feet kept being tossed from the foot pegs. I finally realized that I wasn't gripping with my knees the same with these on. After an hour or so, I adjusted and now don't have that problem. I do notice that my feet slip sideways off the pegs still, its rare, but something that probably will always happen while riding with these. I ride a 450r, and with these braces it feels like I'm riding with a desert tank. If you already have a desert tank, it feels like youre riding a whale. Overall I'm pleased. It however, took me a few rides to say that.

They’re a great set of guards; however I had two concerns: 1) They are little ‘bulky”, and although they offer great overall support and protection, they are a pain to get ridding pants over them. 2) I had a hard time felling the bike between my legs. I ended up returning them a getting a pair of the PODS K700. I would recommend these, although I would look into the K700 as well. Motosport’s customer service is the BEST, you guys have earned a customer for life…
