I had these on a CR250 many years ago and now put them on a 2005 CRF450. The fit and finish is excellent. First ride of the season was gnarly, with lots of downed trees and nasty terrain. I fell quite a few times and the hand guards did not move at all and protected my levers perfectly. They are more expensive than other hand guards but well worth it.

Great fit onto my '13 KTM EXC 500
I recieved these yesterday and installed them last night. I'm super happy. They installed very easily. The included hardware made it very easy to adapt to my application and clear all of the cables and wires. They are super solid and look great on the motorcycle. I would definitly recommend.

Great hand guards
I got these in yellow for Christmas and they look sweet on my quad. They are made out of hard plastic that goes over a metal bar that goes throughout the hand guard so if you hit a tree it has a slim chance of breaking not saying that they won't break but they are really nice

These are solid! I don't fall often but when I do I want to know that my bike will function when I pick it up. These are pretty bullet proof. I think they distribute the impact when you do dump the bike so you are less likely to bend your bars as well. They protect your hands when riding tight single track and protect levers when transporting next to other bikes as well.

These attach to the bar on one end and the other attaches to the end of the bar. And typically this style of handguard protects the rider hands and controls.

Yes but the guards should cover the levers. If the levers are too low then there is a chance the levers could break in a fall.

They came with mounting. I bought the mounting kit as well but ended up not needing it. The mounting kit that came with it had two different size inserts or sleeves. I ended up not using either sleeve and they fit the 1 1/8 th bars fine. The larger sleeve would have worked as well but I opted not to use it. The key I found to mounting these was to keep all the bolts really loose and then make final adjustments where you want the guards to be and then tightening all the bolts up a little at a time.

if you are running the standard 7/8th pro tapers it will fit. If you are running the 1 1/8th bars, then you will need the over sized mount kit.

Which color for Honda CRF250R...?
I have a 2008 crf250R and recently replaced all the plastics w/a Acerbis kit and selected the OEM color so which color of red should I get? I would like it to match the color of my current plastics. Also, is the "Acerbis" lettering on the handguard a sticker or is it printed into the plastic? I'm hoping it's a sticker b/c I would take it off and put some other stickers on.

I got these in black and they are great bark busters. The only thing is that the plastic around the metal is not replaceable so one good crash and you have to buy new ones or just ride without the plastic part. and the "Acerbis" logo is printed.

This is all about opinion. I like the way White hanguards look on my crf 250. About the "Acerbis" lettering im not sure. I think it is printed onto the guard.

These are fit "mos" bikes. These handguards mount to standard 7/8" bars. If you have oversized 1 1/8" bars you will need to purchase the additional oversized mounts for your specific handlebars. If you have any questions give our knowledgeable sales team a call for assistance.
