Good stuff
Size xxl fits well except for forearms - but he has quite thick forearms. Commented that was hot when not moving but kept enough of the wind out when moving to stay warm. It is a very sunny day, tho. Molds itself to your body.

Awesome price and product
wow what a great product for the price. others were so much more expensive. i bought the l/xl i believe. i weigh 210 and it fit very comfortably with the straps and so on. i have short arms so the sleeves were a little long but i didn't expect a tailored fit, just an fyi for those under 6. total proctection expecially in the back and shoulders arms and so on. the chest is great also but was worried more about my back.

Nice Entry Level Rig
I just recently purchased this. Fitt is really good. Plastic on the pads is thinner than other similar setups but that is not always a bad thing. I did not rate this on durabilty because I have not taken a spill yet to put this to the test.

Best Protection
Bought this for myself while looking for a chest protector. Very happy that I got this one instead. Has all the upper body protection plus kidney belt/ Love the side zipper, doesn't split the chest protector in half. Easy to put on & take off, great ventilation. Everyone has made comments on it & our looking to buy one.

Pleased with purchase.
I am always somewhat skeptical about purchasing anything on line especially clothing and "fitted" gear. this item fit snug and it it had protection in all the places that are vulnerable. Even after some extended riding it was still comfortable. It also breathes great, so I was concentrating on my riding, not being uncomfortable. I am a recreational rider not a racer, so this unit works well for me as opposed to several pieces of gear. Ride on!

Good fit, protection, and value
Good protection. Not too hot. Best worn with a long-sleeved under armour tight shirt underneath. The back plate can be removed. I leave it off when I wear a camelback and there's still plenty of protection. You can't do better than this unit.

Great Purchase
I purchased this jacket for my grandson who is heavy into racing. It was a great purchase. I liked the side zip up I feel this gave him more protection for his chest. He had to take off the kidney protection but it was because he is only 13 and I am sure as he gets older he will be able to put it back on. It is great protection for his chest back and arms. I am getting ready to buy another one for his father who also races.

Another quick question. How is the sizing on this? I see the only choices really are a small/medium and large/xtra large.?
I'm athletically built meaning I have broad shoulders and chest with a smaller waist. Normally I wear a 34 waist pants and medium to large top, depending on the shirt. My current Klim jersey is size Medium. I would just hate to get a large/xl and not fit or the same with the small/med. Thanks.

Depending on how tall you are I would lean towards the large/xl for sizing options considering what you've mentioned. If you wear large sometimes in T-shirts, then I would select the large option. There will be a little bit of adjustment too.

Would this be a good protector to wear under a jersey?

This would be a great protector to wear under the jersey. This style is getting more and more popular for both track and trail riders to use. They are not bulky and are comfortable to wear.

Is this neck brace compatable? Thanks?

This can be worn with a neck brace. Fitment may need some adjustment depending on the rider, but is okay to use together.
