Turner hot launch

the instructions were really good, looks good on the bike

Good bang for the buck

This Turner Hot launch does exactly what it is intended to do and works just as well as some of the other ones that are upwards of $110. It was only $60 for my 06' Kawasaki 450. This holeshot devices definately does what it is supposed to and I haven't had a problem with the function at all. The only problem is the clamp is made out of aluminum and gets dinged and scratched VERY easily. But overall a great buy for the product though

Works great

the turner hot launch works great and is a great price. the only issues i had was mounting it to my 06 kx250f. the mounting guide didnt line the holes up correctly. after a little messing around it worked out okay, but definitely took a bit longer than i expected

Performs as promised

This item installed easily and came with clear easy to follow directions. Included was a template with three settings for different rider heights and riding conditions. I used the setting labeled for most riders in most conditions. I raced this past week end, start was a dirt start. I was able to rip a convincing holeshot. This product worked for me.

Amazing!

i got this for my 05kx125 for LL and i went out and used it for my first time 2day and when i did my first start i notice a BIG difference! it gets you out of the gate faster and it gives excellent traction down the whole straight away...i didnt think something this little would make such a big change but it does!....i used to start out in 1st gear and if i tried starting in 2nd without this launch control i would bogg out...but i tried taking off in 2nd with this holeshot device and it just jumps out of the gate really fast and it goes straight to the power band.....best thing i have ever bought for my 125!

Awful

I ordred this product for my 2006 KX250F and the ring that goes around the fork tube is too small to go down far enough. Thus the forks must be extremely soft to use the product.
Wouldn't reccomend it.

Fits great on my 2007 crf250r. Maybe your forks and fork guards are off? But anyways it works just as good as any others and its cheaper.

Good product!

Same design and just as good as the Pro Circuit holeshot device. I used this for the 2nd half of my local series here running 2 different classes. Worked properly everytime with no problems!

The push button of this launch control that bolts to the fork guard does NOT fit very well!!!

A: Yes. You have to grab your front wheel, pull down, then lock it. depending on how stiff your suspension is, you might not be able to do this by yourself.

Q: Can you do this by yourself ?

i was watching Broc hepler and he had himself and another guy. it looked like the mechanic was pushing the button and Hepler was jumping forward on the bike till the device locked the forks. is that what i have to do ?

A: to set the holeshot device you'll need two people. The rider will usually compress the front forks and the other person will have to push the button on the device to lock it into place.

A: yes. because your forks when your just sitting on the bike are not compressed. you have to compress them then either you or have someone press the button so they are locked

A: Yes. hold front brake, push the front of the bike down past the button on the fork guard, and have the person push the button so when the forks come back up, it locks it to the ring on the fork.

Q: Hot launch-how's it work?

I know what's it's suppost to do... but how does it do this. What part of this small device keep the front down? Im confused what and how it really works Thanks Scott

A: Basically there is a band that goes around your fork tube and then a pin that you bolt onto your fork guard. When you compress your forks, you push the button on your fork guards and the pin locks into the band on your tubes.. Once you hit a bump and forks compress, the pin will disengage and then you will have full motion of your forks.

A: The black part goes around the leg of your fork. Then the "button" hooks onto your fork guard. Of course, you have to put a hold thru your fork guard for the "button" part of the mechanism to go thru. then, once its all hooked up, you get on your bike, and have someone standing next to it. You hold the front brake, push the bike forward and down, then have the person helping you push the button in. The black part goes down further than the button on the fork guard, and when the forks rebound to come back up to their natural position, the button grabs the black ring and locks your front end down. Once this happens, you are ready for a hot launch. This will help keep you stable, feet on the ground, a comfortable posistion, and you can really push your limit off the starts since it gives you tremendous traction and your front end doesnt lift. these are a must have for any racer.

A: It comes with instructions and a template. you mount the button on the fork guard based on preference. it maintains the fork guide bracket.
