Will this work with a 2001 Yamaha YZ 125?
There is no battery on the bike, and no other power source besides the power that goes to the spark plug. Will there be a way to power it on my bike?

Yes, Just be sure to correctly select the Year/Make/Model of your bike before ordering so we can be sure to send you the correct computer for your bike. The Striker has an internal 3.0V watch type battery (#CR2032). The computer can be run from the internal battery without being connected to a vehicle power source. For proper, full-featured use (LEDs and voltage readouts), connect to vehicle power. (See users manual) http://gfx.motosport.com/product/TrailTech/TRH0013_7110-MANUAL.pdf Also, feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

Adjusting ambient temperature?
My Striker unit display of ambient temperature is off by at least 10 degrees. Is there a way to adjust or correct this setting?

Depending on the machine, you may have some heat or wind hitting the ambient temperature sensor that is causing the reading.

Does this kit include the temperature sensor type that screws into the top of the right radiator on a 2004 KTM 450EXC?
Trail Tech kit number 712-101 has this sensor type and is the one I want. Is this kit 712-101?

Actually the kit we sell is the kit with the temperature sensor that is installed in the radiator hose. Trail Tech #71-102, this would be the Trail Tech Striker we are selling: http://www.trailtech.net/digital-gauges/striker/71-102

Yes, this can work with your 1998 XR400R even though it does not have a battery. It does have an internal battery that can last up to 1 year. It will also run on ac or dc input which means it can be wired into your bikes electrical system.
