It's ok.

The pivot bolt and clevis hole are undersized. It took a little doing to make it fit. I bought it because it came with a brake snake. It looks cool, but I ended up bending the tip in a Harescramble. I don't see replacement tips in the Motosport inventory. I'd buy an O.E. pedal over this one as they are around the same price.

Looks good, so far so good.

Had to machine the pivot bolt hole slightly to get it from a prest fit to a proper slip fit. Good looking bike bling.

Prepare to Modify

Ordered this part for my 09 250. A significant amount of work is needed to make this part work. The fit was awful. took about 90 mins of filing and machining to make this thing fit like it should. However, after i got the part installed it worked great....

This pedal is sweet

I only have a couple rides since install; but I must say I really like the feel and look of this pedal.

Super easy to install. Looks awesome. Much better then stock. Huge foot pad to step on means not looking for the brake when flying into a corner.

Excellent performance-Torc1 Flex Tip Brake Pedal

I wanted a larger than stock pedal. It came with a limb deflector cable, which I did not install right away. I blasted off trail and into some decent sized saplings. Managed to get totally stopped by one stuck between the bike case and this pedal. The pedal flexed, but is fine. I am happy with this product. A definite improvement over stock.

Q: Installation question?

Bought this for my 2013 kx450f, with the stock washer between the pedal and frame when I torqued the by the pedal will not return to neutral, I noticed there is a thicker washer in the bag for the brake snake, I tried putting that washer on the bolt side and in between the pedal and frame and same results, what am I doing wrong

A: I would suggest to contact the manufacturer for information on installation issues:

A: i had to hone out the brass ring inside the arm before i had free movement. the brass insert is slightly too small. twist a piece of sand paper into a cone and put it in the hole and just spin the arm around the sand paper like a new years noise maker. mine was functioning smoothly within 5-10 min.

A: The color of the tip would depend on the model of bike. For a KTM it will be orange and for the Honda's it will be red.

A: Yes, the Torc1 Racing Flex tip brake pedal is designed to fit your 2007 Yamaha YZ450F. The 2010 model would have a different brake pedal design than your 2007, the 2010 pedal that your local dealer has will not fit on your 2007 Yamaha YZ450F.
