I have recently got this chest protector in white. If you don't like shoulder the arm pads on some chest protector then this is the right on for you! When i first put this on i thought it was to small because i'm 6 foot, but once i went riding it was perfectly fine. I would prefer this to people that do motocross and just want to have something protective but light on them.
I'm 6'2" and with my long torso the sentinel covers just enough to protect my chest. It probably is better suited for riders under 6 foot. But is very lightweight and comes in a lot of cool color ways. As far as protection, I haven't gone down hard yet, but seems pretty sturdy for a roost guard.
This is a great, comfortable chest protector.
Fits good and works!
Love this my boy had a bad crash with this held up great.Fits awesome.IThis was for my son I am going to order one for myself.
This Roost protector works great againt roost, comfortable, easy on & off with neck brace staying attached and best of all~~great price!!
Great all around chest protector, Love the fit and feel.
Doesn't restrict movement anywhere.
Great chest, recomended
I bought this to do desert riding in rocky and sandy soil. I am happy with the fit and it deflects the rocks good other then your shoulders. It is comfortable and breaths good. All in all it was what i was looking for.
I ordered this at the beginning of the season, kept it as a race only chest protector. I finally just got around to racing last saturday, it broke after my 2nd moto. I didn't crash. It makes sense now when I see Blake Baggetts rear part of the protector flapping in the wind, the ratchet buckle system failed. I think roost must of broke the buckle off the holeshot. Upsetting because the thing fits, feels, and looks awesome. I don't think you can replace the buckle so now I'm out a chest protector. Either Thor needs to make replacement buckles or reverse the ratchet system connection to the rear of the protector so roost won't destroy the buckle (or to the inside of the front of the protector)...I would recommend to others if the buckle ratchet was in a better location or of better quality. I atleast need the equipment to last me one season, not just one and a half moto's.
it works very well and I have crashed 2 times already didnt break just normal scratches without it I will be in OUCH mood now
Great looking chest protector but is way too small for average sized adults. I'm 5'10" and 190 and was way too tight. Had to return... bummer.
At first it seems like it woud be small but it is really perfact size! I've taken some debries to the chest and it seems to keep me protected. Overall a great piece!
Good quality and fits well
This is a good roost guard. I have tried it under my jersey and find it pinches me a bit. personally i find it great on the out side of the jersey but still find it a bit of a hassle with my neck brace. all in all its an ok product for a light weight guard. I'm switching to the Fox under jersey race protector instead.
bought this for my grandson to replace his other one. It fit him so much better. Almost like clothes. He is so comfortable in it. He races better in it.
THE VEST IS ONE SIZE AND IS SUPPOSED TO FIT UP TO A 200 LB ADULT, MY SON IS 150 LBS, 5'9" AND IT FIT HIM LIKE A JUNIOR. I HAVE RETURNED THE VEST AND WILL ORDER ANOTHER MANUFACTURER'S PRODUCT.
fits great, small you wont even know it is there. works great with a leatt brace, looks great to. pretty durable as well. back piece is easily removed if you want to use just the front. i recomend it!
It does have the back plate that you can put numbers on if purchase the numbers separately.
It take a couple rides to get used to it, but you should be able to adjust pretty quickly.
