Great boots for the money

have only had the boots for a month but so far so good. they are real true to size, and well made. the buckles lock securely and seem durable.

Thor Quadrant 2 Boots

I would say that the syle is pretty good for price but the buckles were hard to close. Also my last pair of boots is size 9 and i orderd the size 10 in these, it was a lil smaller than my old pair? So i sent them back for a 11. I just put five stars for the performance and durability, lets see how they hold up!

Thor Quadrant 2 Boots

I don't care for these boots. The buckles take some work to snap into place, tricky to shift with them on, feet get wet from the boots leaking in water. Not worth it, spend the extra money for a better pair.

BAD BUCKLES

The buckles SUCK! The bottom one NEVER stayes done. It also is verry un-comfortable when all the buckles are done so I would NOT RECOMMEND IT! Sorry Thor you failed on this one.

Very poorly designed

I have a pair of these boots sitting in my garage collecting dust. I rode with them 8 or 9 times and gave up on them. They are extremely uncomfortable and poorly designed. The toe will not fit under the shifter and the calf area is so small that I can't fit my knee pads under them. I would give them away to someone that I didn't like but I will probably be tossing them in the trash one of these days, For now they collect dust in the corner of my garage...

To thick

You get what you pay for with these boots....I should have spent the extra $ and got a better boot. The boots are so thick on the toe that it keeps throwing me in neutral....and the buckles will not stay closed.

Bad Design

The design of the first buckle is terrible. It faces inward so it catches the shifter and unbuckles. I had to tape it down to prevent that and that only lasts a few laps or so. REDESIGN IT!

HA

I bought these boots because I loved my old thor boots. I ride enduros and the buckle on top of the foot always comes undone....I lost a buckle that way. Now i zip tie them and they stay shut but its a pain in the butt. I am extremely disappointed and Im gonna buy the fox comp 5 boots and see if they hold up.

Good boots, low price.

Bought these boots 2 years ago and they are holding up well. They fit true to size and offer great protection, but the toe box is pretty roomy which can make finding the shifter challenging at times. Buckles stay snapped once you get them on and the leather heat shield on the side stops the pipe from melting your boots. Great boots for a low price.

Bang for the buck

Had these boots for 2 years.. I havent had to replace one part. very sturdy and durable.. not extremely flexible, but the ridgid sole has saved me a broken foot on several occasions.. this boot protects pretty well.

Useless

In size ten I could not operate the shift lever. Unless you have an automatic dirt bike, I would not recommend these boots.

Yeah

too hard, those boots are not as cool as they look. Good boots to start with, i am changing to fox.

A: I have never warn the fox comp boots but i had a pair of quadrant boots and i did not like them one bit. they do not protect much at all and you can pretty much bend the boot in half at the ankle. id think twice before buying the quadrant

A: Yes Knee BRACES fit but Knee Pads on the other hand are verry iffy. I have some old thor knee pads and they BARELY fit in there. Next time im gonna get some Alpine stars (probably tech 6's or tech 8's)

A: The boots go by your shoe size. So whatever size shoes you wear than go with that. In your case, I would go a little bit bigger... take the size 12. you'll be happy.

if I order a pair of Thor 2009 Quadant boots, do you size them the same way you size shoes? Thinking I need a size 13...

A: Yes, they run just like a shoe size so I would stick with a 13 if thats what you wear in sneakers.
