I just used mine for the first time today. Breathes very well. I didn't wear anything under it, but next time I will. I didn't get any uncomfortable rubbing, but it breathes good enough that I'm going to take the precaution of wearing a light shirt under next time. The protection seems to be heavy duty, but I do notice something that sounds like ripping when I tug on the sleeves. No rips yet, but I have that sound. I would recommend this to anyone who rides. I got the L/XL one, and I'm 6', 220 lbs.
I bought this after being selling off my fox chest protector because it was a bit small for me, I'm a big guy, 5'9 about 260lbs, i bought the 2xl/3xl version of this, and it fits good,
This thing fits really good, the spine support is awesome it keeps my back strait and inline
The chest protector rides a bit high, and is a bit small, but i took a 4" round rock to the chest and it took it like a champ,
The waist belt acts like a back support, but i don't like the zipper attachments.
In the cold, it keeps you warm, and when it's hot, it breaths pretty well. I was never to uncomfortable in it.
The thor rig se and the leatt club duz not work unless you take 3 ribs out of the back and pull the front plastic down as far as you can I have both of these plus a jerzee you must were the leatt on the outside of them both and use the strap with the neck brace the leatt dont fit inside of the thor rig se either i worked for 5 hrs to get it to work all togather kinda ticks me off after spending 395.00 + 140.00 and 30.00 around $ 565.00 in all i should have got the $65.00 thor cheast protector and spent the extra money on some elbow guards
This is the best thing that a hard trail rider could get. It has all of the necessary protection needed to be safe even on the hardest trails. It fits very well and goes unnoticeable while you are riding. I prefer this due to the fact that it is all in one. You dont have to worry about putting multiple things on all of time. You just put it on and go. It has a Zipper on the left side that unzips so you dont have to put it on like a T-Shirt. You must were a T-Shirt underneath. There are a few areas where rubbing will occur. Other then that, very proud of my purchase.
i bought one for freestyle and it fits good and has good protection i removed the spine guard so it would be more comfortable and flexible
Was involved in a first turt pile up today. I was on the bottom of and hit in the back by at least 15 bikes. Without this impact rig I would have been seriously hurt. This is a MUST HAVE for amature racers. Thank You Thor!!!!!
Purchased two of these, one for me one for the wife. Fit very well for me, the wife was okay, not really shaped for female. Work very well with my neck collar, has a lot of strap for adjustment. Spline protector can easily be remove one piece at a time when it interfere with the neck brace. Provide great protection for front, back, and arms in normal crash. Must glue or JB weld some zippers so it dosen't come apart during ride.
The washing instructions will be either on the tag for the protector or on one of the tags attached to it.
