Sweet Bars, Sweeter Price...

I'm tempted to buy more even though I don't need them right now. These are super high quality and are only discounted because the company just got bought and is retooling. (I did throw my old pad on them!)

TAG Mini Handle Bars

Purchased for my sons YZ80 very nice set of bars I love the cutoff marks to set the width of the bars for the rider. Also the addition of the marks for the handlebar position in the clamp is a great addition it makes lining up the bars super easy and also makes for tuning the position for a growing rider super easy. And at a pricepoint that you can keep a spare hanging in the barn I would definately reccomend them. Also the bike has been dropped multiple times and they are still straight! Thanks Motosport for offering a great product at a great price.

Great price

Placed the order several parts including the Tag bars. Received everything except the bars, called MotoSport to inquire on the bars, for some reason they were sent out a day late, MotoSport went above and beyond and sent me another set OVERNIGHT AIR with Saturday delivery at their expense,to make sure our weekend wasn't ruined. Wow all I can say is what customer service thank you guys.

Terrific Value!!

Wow!! Hard to beat the price. I got these TAG X-5 Handlebars for my sons Kawasaki KX65 to replace the stock bars. I weighed the stock bars in at 1 LB 5 Oz. and these TAG X-5 bars weighed in at 1 LB 6 Oz. without the pad. I cut of the ends up to the last printed marking (which was really nice by the way) and then installed them. It was probably close to 1 inch off each end and I'd bet the scrap pieces I cut off weighed more than 1 Oz. so it worked out nicely. We got a much heavier duty set of bars which after cutting, weighed less than stock.

Perfect replacement for bent bars

How can you beat this price for a great set of bars. Plus the free grips just sweeten the deal.

As for the bars they are just what I needed. Nice finish and a good looking bar pad. Perfect!

Tag bar

Love these bars. They flex enough to make the ride smooth but stay stiff enough to feel bomb-proof.

Strong and flexible

This is my 2nd tag bar set. My first tag bar lasted about 2 years. Went through about dozen crashes. 4 hard crashes. I had to re tighten the crossbar twice, which was normal, since I sometimes ride across open country for miles. The last crash I managed to accidentally suplex the bike off a 6 foot ditch. The bike landed upside down, then pinned me to the ground. The tag bars barely bent but I figured it was time to replace them. Very good bars.

Q: Which bars will be most like the stock bars?
1 month 12 days ago
Looking for Tag bars to replace stock bent 2006 Yamaha ttr125 bars. Lots of options and having trouble matching stock rise and bend.

A: Mike great question bar bends are tricky each of the other bar listings are variations based on rider preference. The "Yamaha" or "YZ" will be the standard bend that came on most of the Yamaha dirt bikes. Years ago guys I rode with loved the CR low bend. Really it boils down to preference I can say from past experience that staying with the manufactures bend has always been better than a bent set of bars. I placed these on a 2001 YZ80 and my kids love them the feel is very close to my daughters 2006 TTR 125L with stock bars. Really it boils down to rider preference is the difference in the bends. Hope this helps

A: You may want to look at a different bar, the bends that are left for the x-5 are full bike widths not mini bike widths

A: This specific item does not appear to come with free grips however there is currently a sale where the same TAG X-5 7/8 inch bars are being sold with free grips for the same price. Mine came with free grips. My recommendation would be to narrow your product search by clicking on Handlebars from the product menu and then narrow that even further by choosing TAG from the list of manufacturers. You should then be able to see the listing for TAG X5 bars with Free grips.

A: Tag X-5 Handlebars come in a standard 7/8" size. You will need to see what size bars you are running on your YFZ450 quad to be sure they are correct for your application.
