Good quality machine work on the bar mounts. One bolt was not machined/ formed correctly and would've stripped the threads in the triple clamp. Seems like a .50 cent part is shedding a bad light on these quality mounts. Be careful when mounting them...

Good Setup but 1 small problem

These risers are slick, and solid, but there was 1 small problem. One of the bolts on the throttle side mount that connects to the bike was apparently mis-manufactured. The threading was gummed with metal about 1/8th inch down and cause me to have to muscle the bolt on to the bike, and presumably strip the existing female threading. If I ever have to remove them, I will probably need a whole new triple clamp.

Work good

These over sized bar clamps work good but are very expensive! Seems like the only reason they are charging you 70 dollars for this is because they can. Didn't like how there was no diagram or picture of how these should go. I know your thinking this is simple but the clamps are offset and can either offset to the outside or inside of the stock mounts. Wasn't sure how they should go but quickly found out when my bar pad wouldn't fit.

on my 2012 KX 85 there is no bottom clamp its the triple clamp ad then the top clamp...i wouldn't see how you would screw in a bottom clamp, when the bottom clamp is the triple clamp.. thanks

A: Yes the Tag Universal Bar Mounts will work on your 2012 KX85. The universal oversized bar mounts bolt to your stock clamp/bar mount. Feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.
Q: Is there a noticable handling difference with these, or is the rise barely noticable?

A: These clamps will raise the bars 2/3" over stock height. It shouldn't really effect the handling of the bike and you can compensate for the clamp being higher if you were to run a bit lower bar.
Q: Fit fast flexx bar?

Will this product fit onto a fast flexx handlebars?

A: Yes, these will allow you to use Flexx bars on a bike with 7/8ths bar clamps. If your bike has an aftermarket option for a 1-1/8th triple clamp, I would suggest replacing the entire top clamp.

Q: Strength?
It would seem that this product would break easily if you were to crash since your adding on to your triple clamp mount. The bolts don't seem strong enough. I've been determing to get this product but 2nd guessing that it will break easily. Can anyone give me insight of how tough an long lasting these bar adapters are? Thanks.

A: I have not had any issues with customers breaking these. The way they are machined makes them fit snugly into the existing 7/8ths bar mounts makes them just as strong as the original setup. They are not recommended for use on rubber mounted bar mounts as they do create extra leverage on the mount bolt through the triple clamp which can cause them to bend easier in the even of a crash.
