Replacement Sprocket Bolts

These replacement bolts are great. You know, after changing may rear sprockets with OEM bolts...your allen wrench does not go very deep into the stock bolt head. Tag Metals does a really nice job of adding a radius to these bolts to give you a deeper place for your allen wrench.

Plus....I am a big fan of air craft nut plastic seal. The OEM has the metal interference on the threads, which is good...but I like air craft style nuts.

My bike had OEM 12mm nuts on the bolts....the Tag Metals had a 13mm nut on the bolt. Props to a more robust set up.

10 on the 10 scale.

Ride On :)

Excellent product.

Hi quality product. The larger allen sockets are way better than stock. Looks excellent. Should be part of your Renthal sprocket and chain combos.

Direct OEM replacement. The teflon locking rings in the nuts make me not worry so often now while riding. Feel more secure than OEM.

Nice change from OEM fasteners

The nicest thing about these fasteners is the larger hex recess than stock fasteners which allows full torque from the recess side instead of the nut side which is blocked by the spokes. The nuts have a plastic ring in them for locking. The finish on the bolts is bling! They have been functioning. Not sure about long-term corrosion resistance but they look nice for now and are working.

Poor Durability

Stripped the first few of these I tried using stock torque specs. Had to reuse old stock bolts, which all torqued down fine to the same specs. Would not trust the strength of these bolts, go OEM.

Best Sprocket Bolts Ever

This is the third and FINAL sprocket bolt set I have tried. This is the only one that has not come loose. Torque the the proper tension and they will stay put.

Good buy

This is a nice bolt kit that looks good. Price is a little steep for 6 bolts, washers, and nuts but that is my only complaint. I will purchase again when it's time for a chain and sprockets.

They work

Not much to say about bolts, they work, they look good, and they're cheaper than the OEM units. Installed on my '03 YZ250.

Smooth

bought these after replacing my worn sprocket. I've installed many sprockets and used every known sprocket hardware out there. The difference with the Tag sprocket Bolt kit is the smooth install and reliability they give you. Top Notch

Great product.

Great product. Replaced O.E.M. sprocket bolts with Tag sprocket bolt kit and new sprocket. Fit perfect and did not need to be retightened at all.

TAG Bolts

These bolts are .004-.006 smaller in diameter than the stock Yamaha sprocket bolts. What that means is initial slop in your hub. The lock nuts constantly loosen even with Loctite Red applied !! Would not recommend, buy the OEM Bolts !!!
