Great protection but more of a gaurd than a brace! "Keeps me from bruising my knees. They are comfortable as long as you wear sleeves under ..." "Keeps me from bruising my knees. They are comfortable as long as you wear sleeves under the brace. If not, the velcro can scratch you legs. If you're a person who bangs their knee a lot and do not want to spend the money on a high end brace I would suggest giving these a try. If you worry about injuries from hyperextension or hyperflexion these provide little to no protection in that area. Other than sizing and the straps there is no other form of adjustment to reduce the chance of those kind of injuries. All in all the braces are affordable, durable, and offer great protection from bumps and bruises (not twistin or internal injuries). They may take some getting used to but after a ride or two the only time you'll notice them on is when they save you from busting your knees."

Bad Design, Glorified Knee Pads "First ce I ever owned, and rode with them for a year/season. I wanted to like these ..." "First brace I ever owned, and rode with them for a year/season. I wanted to like these braces and bought them because I liked the use of aluminum over plastic/carbon fiber, but first impressions when riding were very regretful. These braces are very bulky and restrictive, the pants get stretched around the brace and then your mobility is extremely limited as your legs feel sort of locked up when like trying to mount the bike, shift/brake, or even in extreme body positions in cornering etc. Very uncomfortable and took a bit of modification, removing the top strap of my boot helped a lot for mobility/freed-up my legs(made the brace ridable) and I had to add extra velcro to keep the pad lining in place because the top and bottom linings would pinch your skin in the knee area SEVERELY as you worked them loose from standup to sitdown positions. For the period of time I used them they were very durable, but Ive seen a lot of bad reviews on the durability of the hinges. The protection is questionable, as the braces do migrate a lot and twist/rotate on your leg(bent or straight) because there is very little contacting/hugging your actual leg. What helped them stay up in place the most was my boot. So nothing to keep you from tweaking your knee as your leg can move around in the braces, just a glorified knee guard really, but a pretty good knee guard in a sense. Maybe I got a size too big? I got a medium, that's what I measured to, and that's what I have now in a different brand(they fit perfect), so maybe try a size down. Once I modified them a bit the braces were good, and as I started riding I could almost forget they were on, even with them as restrictive as they are, but for the price these braces were a very bad buy. Either go proper $400+ braces or save some money and try the 661 Cyclones(they look right for the price)."

you get what you pay for "these are just fair at best knee braces. The rivets that limit the knee from hyper ..." "these are just fair at best knee braces. The rivets that limit the knee from hyper extending broke after about 10 rides on both left and right braces. When they break you can instantly tell because they lock your knee at a 90 degree position which can be a problem while riding. While walking round the track they do get uncomfortabe because you can not adjust them, and the chin part will dig into you chin. If you are looking for a cheap entry brace with fair protection these will work."
