Advanced, semi-synthetic aerosol lubricant specially designed for high performance motorcycle chains. Effectively penetrates vital pins and bushes of the chain to provide excellent lubrication and corrosion protection. Quickly thickens by solvent evaporation to leave a thin yet durable coating on the external side plates and rollers, offering outstanding protection, while resisting the tendency to fling off, even at high speeds. Helps to seal the chain and combats the ingress of water and other contaminants that can dramatically reduce chain and sprocket life.
- Performance-oriented lubricant that is easy to apply and is made with a non-fling formula.
- Semi-synthetic chain lube for maximum performance on motorcycles and ATV chains.
- Developed for off-road competition but performs equally well on street bike applications.
- Produces a thin yet durable coating which penetrates internal chain components to lubricate and protect from water and other contaminants.
- Offers outstanding lubrication which also maximizes corrosion resistance.
- Works great for all types of chains, both O-ring and non O-ring.
- 16 ounce aerosol can.
lubes well, but slings everywhere. if you don't mind the cleanup this is ok. if you do, get another type of chain lube.
It was the only option I had that wasn't that junky wax stuff. I am not crazy about the delivery system, but the oil is exactly what I am looking for. Keeps my chain from rusting. Just use before riding if you want your chain to be pliable and not decrease your power as the hype would have you believe. Always use after a ride and after cleaning to prevent rust. Don't overkill...its a fad!
best chain lube ever no splatter stays on chain.
so i definitely recommend different chain oil there is definitely stronger oils that last longer
Have used many different chain lubes and Silkolene is my favorite. It works well and doesn't leave a sticky residue.
Seems to hold up very well.
I have a 79 Honda XL250S which had been abused by the previous owner. Chain was almost pure rust. I applied Silkolene Chain Lube and the result was outstanding. Dissolved the rust and the chain functions perfectly.
This and the Spectro Lube are by far the best two I have used. I will use this again and again I am sure
I did not like this chain lube whatsoever. It is good lube but it does not dry hard and when you ride it turns stringy and gets on everything. I will not buy this again. I will stick with the good ol' chain wax.
It works well and seems to stick for good amount of time. I will be trying out other lubes just to get a feel for everything out there. If your hesitating about the product I would recommend it. You wont be disappointed.
its a decent chain lube but after a couple uses it starts to leave a nasty grime
Does the Job. Good price.
The only chain lube i will use on my bikes, it keeps the chain and sprocket lasting a really long time without leaving a sticky residue for dirt to stick to and make a long and painful cleaning job
very very very good chain lube. probably the best I have ever used. Holds up really well and there is never any binding in the chain when I am riding.
I will never ride without it.
I use this on all the bikes that I service. Customers ask me "Hey what was that you put on my chain, because it works great."
It is a really good lube for the price, but I recommend Bel-Ray's chain lube, because it seems to be thicker and makes the chain/sprockets last longer.
