I love SIDI boots and the fact that they make replacement parts for their boots... BUT, their strap retainers are made poorly. Two tiny plastic knobs hold the strap in place, when adjusting the strap length these knobs can easily break off thus making the strap no longer secure in it's retainer. Then while riding the straps can and will come out of the inserts, once this happens the other end of the strap (the buckle end) easily comes apart. Now you're riding around in $500 boots with missing straps and when you get home you have to buy new boot straps (which come in a pack and they ain't cheap) and you also have to buy new strap retainers (which come in a pack and they ain't cheap) that easily break causing a distracted rider and motivating long winded product reviews. I've vented so now I can clear my head and go riding.
