Really nice helmet, cool graphics and amazing protection. It has special cheek pads that wrap around your face and extend down about to your jaw so the helmet is super snug. Its pretty light as well and the safety features are amazing. My goggles fit comfortably right up to my face.

I expected the vents to work a little better (I also got white to be cooler in the summer). I couldn't really feel too much ventilation but there definitely was some.

How important is your head?

Hands down best helmet i have ever purchased.. yea it may be a little pricey but at what cost to protect your head?... lightest helmet i have ever worn and has large cheek pads which help keep the helmet sturdy and not slide down when you wreck which has happened to me often...i used to run a one industries trooper and when i wrecked i broke all the capillaries in my face because the helmet slid....not to mention the helmet looks dope and the new graphics are super cool

The best for my melon

I needed a new helmet and went shopping for a replacement in the $150 range, knowing I could probably find an '08 or '09 online for $100. I made the mistake of letting the salesman talk me into just "trying" this one on. I never knew how nice a helmet could fit. I don't think I can go back to bargain helmets ever again. It's so light and comfortable I completely forget about it. I used to constantly adjust my old helmet, and I thought it was a good one. I guess sometimes you're better off not knowing what you don't know!
I also tried on the Bell Moto 8 and found it not to my liking. It was light, just didn't fit. I think the Bell is for more round shaped heads, as opposed to the Shoei for more oval shaped heads.
