We purchased this carrier last summer for our 14.7 lb. dog who was new to riding. Due to his height we had to turn it around backwards on the bike and connect to a harness as the collar attachment allowed him to jump out and "dangle". Conner logged over 20k his first year in this carrier and it worked great. However the material has not held up. It is horribly faded. We do not leave it in the sun, or outside. Our other luggage has not faded the way the carrier has it is more blue and purple than black now. All the zippers and straps are still in great shape, they have not faded, just the bag. For this price point we expected higher quality for the material of the bag. It fits perfectly in my back seat or on my tourpack rack (ultra limited). The pet palace was a little too large for the rack, it would not sit flat. This is the perfect bag, just with is did not look so terrible now.

The bag looks good on the motorcycle. I like all the zippered compartment and vents. The bottom floor area could be more firm as it buckles over the top of my seat so the dog falls to the left or the right. I've corrected that was a small internal frame that I made myself and everything seems to work fine now. I also moved the tethering the hook to the bottom of the bag to keep the dogs secured to the bottom rather than the top gives you more ability on how much access they have outside the bag. All in all I think it's a great bag and depending on your dog you may not have to change anything I just made it more comfortable for my puppy. We just returned from a five-day trip with a little over six hundred and fifty miles no problem. I did freeze a couple water bottles to put in the bag to help with cooling. I think that a cooling pad as an accessory would be a great idea.
