Living in the Pacific Northwest and commuting by motorcycle can be a test of endurance - and your ability to deal with everything always being wet. After struggling for a long while with a two-piece rain suit which always leaked between pants and top and was beginning to lose its seams, I had to get something new. The Rev'It! Pacific H2O suit was new to me, looked good and still is fairly affordable. I had an opportunity to try one on and found that it fit over my gear easily and was quick to don. That sealed it for me, so made the purchase. After riding all of 2014 in the suit, it has held up well. In even the most pounding rain, it will keep you dry while at speed and is only slightly noticeable (to the rider). I have manged super-legal speeds in it as well with only the issue of added wind resistance of its nylon being a problem. And, that is one area where there may be some concern. Since the Pacific H2O is made in Europe, American buyers should buy one size up at least. And then, it may be a little too big. It does have adjustment options which help with this, though. Another concern is only with the Hi-Viz version of the Pacific H2O - it gets dirty quick and takes effort to get back to new looking. Even so, the Hi-Viz still makes your presence known - especially important in heavy downpours - and does its job. Oh, and one more little problem. If you are sitting still in traffic on the bike, a heavy rain can get through the front zipper and into your lap if you do not have the hook-and-loop sealed perfectly; if you are constantly moving, you will never notice this. Yes, I highly recommend the Rev'IT! Pacific H2O suit.
