These gloves are well constructed and will probably last a long time but the design has flaws that probably all gauntlet gloves have. The flaws are in the gauntlet. It's not large enough or long enough to easily put it on. I have to force it over my leather jacket sleeves and, while the first one on is doable, the second one is almost impossible with a gloved hand. Cold weather riding performance was not at all what I expected. My fingers are just as frozen at low temps after a 45 minute commute as they were with some $40 gloves. Well, they are a bit better but not enough to justify the price tag. I should have bought electric gloves but was trying to stay away from that stuff. I've now accepted that I need a complete electric solution that will be wired to my bike. If you don't ride below 50 degrees ambient, these will work but I have a real issue with the gauntlets on these gloves. They just are not large enough to be easy to get on.
