A really nice pair of gloves

I ordered the black version in large after trying the Racer R Safe gloves. The R Safes didn't fit right (fingers too long) and were very bulky, but I'd read that the High Racers fit differently. The did, they fit perfectly, and while having great protection, they're also not bulky.

The gauntlet is long, and the gloves are pretty easy to get on and seem like they'll stay that way once cinched up. I've ridden about 2000 miles with them, including through the rain, and they've been comfortable while providing good feel. In the rain I just wear nitriles underneath and all is good.

They're a beautiful glove to look at, and though not cheap, they offer more comprehensive protection than anything else I could find at this and higher prices. They seem durable, with good stitching and materials; time will tell, but I feel pretty confident.

Also, thanks to motosport for their excellent customer service.

One of the best race gloves I've worn

I'm going to keep this short, because there's really not much to say. These gloves are fantastic in every way. Supple leather, protection where you need it, grippy silicone-impregnated pads on the fingertips and palm... Only thing to keep in mind is that these are racing gloves, so the pinky and ring fingers are bound together, and the scaphoid sliders are very large. Great for crashing, not so great for touring. Every track rider needs a pair of these.

Real Solid Gloves

Awesome glove. Very comfortable. Did a 650 mile trip on them right out of the bag with no issues. For a day to day glove, the gauntlet can be a little finicky, but not a deal breaker. Love the tan kangaroo skin palm, looks and feels great. All in all not sure there's a better glove our there.

Best glove I've worn

Starting to see this brand more and heard about the great fit. Was very happy when they arrived to see the level of quality and protection they have. Fit is great and am told by Racer USA they will break in nicely. Now after 1mth riding/commute they are coming in nicely. Highly reccomend.

Nice glove

The glove construction and feel over all is great. I unfortunately fall between a Small and almost a large because I am a smaller guy with shorter fingers and larger hands.

I decided to get the Medium since I was border-line M or L for the palm, S for fingers. The glove actually fit nicely on the palm but after breaking it in I realized I probably could have gotten the S.

So now the bad part is that I am stuck with a great pair of gloves where the fingers are just too long for me and some what are now uncomfortable because the palm is broken and the whole glove feels big. Just fro reference, I wear a M in Alpinestars.

Q: How long is the gauntlet?
1 year 12 months ago
My new suit is a little short in the sleeves and both the Dainese Full Metals and the Held Phantom 2s are just a little too short on the inside (thumb side). So I was wondering if anyone had a pair (preferably Larges) that they could measure the length of the gauntlet back from the base of the thumb? Would be a great help, thanks.

A: Not sure “base of the thumb” reference would be the same when comparing all the gloves. But I did measure large from the palm side where base of thumb starts near the palm slider.

High Racer and R-Safe = ~4.5”
High Speed =~ 4.0", but the cuff is curved and max length from where the wrist protector is ~5.0”

Overall length of all from tip of middle finger to end of cuff is ~11.5-12”
