  • Fitment
  • Pro Wheel developed their Spoke Kit to not only replace the OEM spokes and nipples but upgrade them for race durability.
  • The spokes from Pro Wheel are made from swaged stainless steel for a higher tensile strength over OEM and prevents stretching.
  • Pro Wheel uses a gradual continuous hammering technique that improves the oscillating load capacity.
  • Installing the Pro Wheel spoke kit is easy with most models being structured off OEM specifications.
  • The Pro Wheel spoke kit includes enough spokes and nipples to rebuild your motorcycle's OEM wheel.
  • Note: Pro Wheel spokes may require drilling or the hub and/or rim.

Obvious Upgrade from OEM

I've been running Pro-Wheel Rims, Spokes, etc for years & after reading the last two reviews I had to post. First of all, buying spokes that are thicker & more durable than stock isn't a waste of money. Yes, you may have to make your spoke holes a little bigger to fit a better spoke, but is that really a negative thing? "I had a rowboat in my driveway, now I have to make more room since I got a 23 foot wakeboard boat. What a waste." Second, you should check new spokes/nipples after the first 15 minutes of riding, not after an hour. By then I bet almost all the ones that broke were loose for awhile & when you tightened them after an hour, they were already done. Just sayin, great product when installed & maintained properly!!

Waste of time.

wont fit in stock hub. waste of money. hub needs to be drilled out for each spoke to fit or hub needs to be aftermarket oversized. very unhappy

Cheap..

Laced them up and 1 jump did them in ( 8 of them the be exact, at once...), even after checking the first hour for proper torque. Wheel survived, not a pro wheel, and Bill at Motosport is doing me right, however :)

2 of the casualties, notice the break point.

Will these spokes work on a CR250R stock hubs, 21" D.I.D front and 19" Excel rear? Also what size spoke wrench would work for front and rear spokes?

Compatability?
Would I be able to lace these spokes to a 18 x 2.15 warp 9 rear rim and a 21 x 1.6 warp 9 front rim with tusk impact hubs? I am trying to do a custom wheel set for my dirtbike.. If this combination won't work with these spokes what spokes would work?

You have to select the correct size in the pull down menu to get the correct Pro Wheel spoke kit. The Pro Wheel spokes are designed to work in the stock hubs.

I was wondering if these spokes could also be used on the rear rim, I ask this because I am wondering what is the difference between wheel spokes?

I would not recommend using these as Rear Spokes. Normally Rear Spoke are a bit thicker than front spokes to compensate for the force exerted on the rear wheel during acceleration and braking.

On your 2009 KX250f you will not need to drill the rim to accept these these spokes.

This spoke kit will only work with the stock/oem hub and rim. From what I know about Talon hubs is they don't offer a direct OEM type replacement. Talon uses a different series Excel rim that is not the same as OEM. With that said I wouldn't suggest using this spoke kit. I would look into a set of bulldog spokes if they still offer them. Unfortunately we do not carry bulldog spokes.

Will these fit the oem rim ?
I was wondering if these will fit the oem 19" front rim, or do they need to be laced to a Pro Wheel rim for proper fitment ?

It will be a complete kit for the front wheel so the amount of spokes vary depending on the bike.
