It's a black container

If you are staring at the picture wondering if it's the oil you usually get in the black container-- it is. It's the only oil I use on all my bikes and 4 wheelers.

Buying by the gallon is alot cheaper than going to the dealer and buying by the quart. You need to buy enough of stuff to get free shipping.

Geat Price on OEM Oil

most cycle shops charge around 12-13 Dollars per quart for this GN4 Honda 10w-40. MotoSport beats their prices and shipping is lightning fast.

OEM Recommended

I used GN4 'back in the day' and was pleased with it. My kids worked their way through the 50's, 65's, 85's, and a 125 and we used various oils with varying success. We currently use GN4 in our new CRF250R and continue to use it in my old CRF450. The OEM tested the motorcycles using this oil, so I figure using it is my safest bet.

Engine protection

I have run most major brands of oil and I keep coming back to Honda's GN4 4-stroke oil for my ATV's. I have a 1999 Honda 400EX that has run this oil all of it's life and I just tore it down to do a 440 kit and was amazed to see how clean everything was and literally no engine wear. The cylinder still had cross hatching and there was no blow by past the rings. If a 15 year old engine can look this good, I am sticking with Honda GN4!

A: The conditions the engine will be running in determine the oil that should be used. 20W50 is what I run and generally recommend.

The GN4 is the engine side oil only. The Honda HP transmission oil is what you run on the transmission side

A: Yes. For the 2013 KX250F, Kawasaki list the oil specifications as:

10w40 API SG, SH, SJ, SL or SM with JASO MA, MA1 or MA2

The Honda GN4 is a SJ oil.
