Good silencer!

I have a pro circuit works pipe on my '04 RM250 which i bought secondhand. The bike came with a Pro Circuit spark arrester silencer which i rode with for a few months. I decided to finally get a motocross silencer and man! Not only is this Shorty about 2 lbs lighter than the spark arrester, it took the tame power band of the RM250 and gave it some hit! A little more on the bottom, but mostly noticed that the powerband actually "hits" now in the mid range. Noticed no difference on the top end but i barely get out of third gear on the local tracks anyway!

Pro Circuit Shorty Silencer

I bought this for my son's cr250 hoping that it would give a little more power at his hill climb competition, but didn't notice much difference at all from the forest approved spark arrester silencer.

Great pipe

this pipe is great, if you only or still have stock exhaust on your bike, if you buy this pipe you will notice a big difference in power. it has a nice sound to it, looks great on the bike and it was easy to install , i have this paired up with the pro circuit platinum pipe on my yz 85 ,,huge power gains. this just makes the bike rip even harder. great pipe, and in my opinion its better than fmf

If I bore out my cr85 with pro circuit r-304 pipe and silencer will it need re jeted?

Most likely you will need to re-jet. There is not a specific setting I could give you for jetting your bike. It would really depend on your location (altitude/temperature) and how your bike is running with the current jetting. Jetting can be very tricky, there isn't one setting that will work everywhere with every bike. I would recommend taking your bike to a local motorcycle dealership??s service department to have your bike properly jetted.8zvzz(C{`|z

For your 2005 Kawasaki KX85 the Pro Circuit R 304 Shorty Silencer should bolt to the FMF fatty no problem.

If your bike is currently jetted properly you will likely not have to make any changes after installing this slip-on. I would recommend installing the exhaust and riding the bike to see how it is running then tuning your carburetor from there if necessary.

Switching over to a Pro Circuit Shorty Muffler should give you a noticeable increase in power right off the bottom end as well as giving you a bit broader power delivery throughout the powerband.

your not going to want any type of shorty because those are for tight track and such. i would recommend an fmf powercore2 with a fatty pipe. or a gnarly. but if your a pro circuit guy then id recommend the platinum pipe with the r304 factory sound. basically pick a color they are both going to give you great performance

i have a 05 rm 250 and run a full pro circuit system and it helps out a lot. run their long silencer over the shorty, since you are riding sand you will need all the top end you can get. also try a tall gearing
