I just used these saddlebags for the first long trip the past couple of days. Althought I was missing one of the straps for the bags, which was missing when i recieved them, I still managed to secure them quite nicely. I barely noticed them, if I did at all, on the 500 mile trip and will definately use them again on any trip I take my bike.

The bags are well built, rugged, good looking and an accommodating size. The installation is a challenge. The supoort straps drape over the passenger seat of the aftermarket Corbin saddle on my ZR7S Kawasaki making a less than comfortable surface to sit. The bags have to be set high and forward to miss the pipe and the turns signals resulting in the front pressing up against the heels of the passenger. They are great for riding solo but a push for two.
Pros: Bags are perfectly sized, and hold more than they appear to. Bags look great on a sport bike.
Cons: Attaching them to the bike seems slightly clumsy, although I'm not sure what could be done about this anyway.
Thoughts: Works good in conjunction with their barrel tail pack.
These bags are great looking and have plenty of room for the modest packer.
Nelson Rigg is a very amenable company and very nice to deal with. The first set of bags I recieved had a defect from the factory and they were replaced very quickly with no hassle at all.
I would definitely suggest these bags to anyone looking to do some light sport touring.
