MSR Fork Support

I bought this to use on a ttr50, i would say it is a little too big for that bike but i still got it to work out just fine.

Great buy

I am so glad that I bought these! They make our bikes much more secure, reduce strain on the forks, and are super quick and easy to put in.

2014 KX100: Fits perfectly

I ride a 2014 KX100 and originally bought the mini brace since that is what the product description and question and answer section specified. That mini brace is made for 65's. If you are riding a big wheel 85 or a KX100, you probably need to order the full size brace. I cannot speak for any models other than the KX100, but I would imagine this would fit most 85's, big wheel or not.

This brace is the best way to secure a bike, save fork seals, and transport without worry. It's simple and secure. What more could a person ask for?

Works as described

I bought this to keep my bike from shifting when loaded. I tried using a length of 2 x 4 which was okay. I bought this as an add on item while shopping. I have been impressed by MSR products in the past. Hard clear plastic. Seemed a little flimsy at first. Does fit better than a block of wood. Does the job by supporting the fork and preventing over compression and risk of leaking seals. My only concern is the type of plastic used which appears brittle. My fear is long term use and abuse may take its toll and cause product failure. However the price is right and the product does what it is designed to do. Would recommend this product if your bike shifts around while being transported over rough terrain.

Not too much to say other than it works. I had mine for a year and its held up fine so far. Used it about 30 times and no complaints.

Fork seal saver!

Saves fork seals from leaking and the springs from loosing stiffness!

MSR Fork Support

We used this fork support on my dads kx 250. It caused my dads tie downs to snap and make his 250 skid 100 ft down the road.

A must for saving seals

I use one of these on all of our bikes. I strap them down and then bleed the air out of the fork... Seals usually blow after the ride when pressure is still high in the fork and when the fork is depressed during hauling, the seal is under constant pressure.

A note about size... The standard works for all full size bikes of course, and the mini works on 65 and 85's pretty well. If you have a supermini with larger front wheel on a 85cc chasis or if you have a ktm 105, the standard is difficult to get under the fender... just a little too long.

Save your forks

This things work great, you can pull the tie downs tight without fear of damaging the forks. I am not used to the semi-clear color but its OK.

Poor fit and falls out.

I used these on a kx250 and a yz426f.
This is a great concept poorly executed. The upper portion that is supposed to fit around the fender bolts does not even come close to fitting anything. It is always off to one side or another and seems like it about to break. I'm sure it would have broken if it stayed in long enough for me to get anywhere. It would continually spit out the front after rolling over a few minor bumps on the road. Once it comes out the bike is barely being held in by the tiedowns because the suspension is barely compressed.
I tried every position I could think of in case I was doing it wrong.
I would love to return these things but I have long since tossed out the package.
You would be better off with some 2x4's and some duct tape.

A good purchase

a little bit of a pain to keep in place ....but once the bike is locked down nothing moves ...

Just ok.

This product is ok. It's made of a light plastic material. The top part that fits into the finder is made of the same plastic and can be difficult to secure between the tool and fender. A rubber top piece would make this a much better product. Other than that it does work and keep the forks from compressing as much.

Works great

Fits my ktm 400exc holds the bike in place even the rear end.

A: The full size brace should fit this bike. The mini brace is four inches too short for my '14 KX100 and the full size brace fits perfectly.
