Motorex

I have had nothing but superior performance from all motorex products. I've been racing 30+ years and have tried just about every brand of lubricant and motorex is by far the best I've used. I have 4-stroke and 2-stroke machines and use motorex in all of them, the gear oil works well for me in my 2-stroke (no trans or clutch failures), I recruited several of my friends and they all rave about motorex, it's good.

A: Yes it would be fine to run in the gear box on your 2014 KTM 250XC.

Q: Is this the proper oil to run in my 2009 KTM 530 exc gear box?

I was under the assumption that I was to run the same oil as the engine, Motorex 10w-50, but this makes more sense.

A: You can use this in place of the Motorex 10w-50. The nice thing about using one oil for the engine is transmission is you can never accidentally mix them up. The Motorex 10w-50 is designed to work with gearboxes and clutches so you will be absolutely fine to run that or the gearbox specific oil depending on your preference.
