Motul Factory Line Chain Lube Veloc - PDX Tacky lube means less fling... "I've bounced around a few different lubes, in an effort to find some that will protect well, coat easily, and dry with enough tack that it doesn't fling off. I had been using Bel Ray Super Clean, since it goes on smooth, white (so you can check coverage), and dries tight to the chain - no fling at all. However, it also dries so thoroughly that it wears away fairly quickly. If you remember to check your chain regularly, you'll be able to stay on top of it and reapply as needed. However, I'm absent-minded when it comes to chain maintenance, so I switched up to the Motul Factory Line last year. Applies smoothly and still has that white color, but it doesn't dry hard to the chain like the Bel Ray lube. This allows it to move and flow into gaps, but it's tacky enough when fully dried to stop most fling. My shelf is now fully stocked with Motul Factory Line, and I use it on all my machines."
Burn Some Shinko
The Shinko Group began production of bicycle tires in February 1946 in Osaka, Japan. Over the following decades Shinko broadened its line into additional rubber products but it wasn't until 1998 that Shinko began manufacturing motorcycle tires. Shinko purchased the motorcycle tire technology and molds from Yokohama Rubber Co. and started production of motorcycle tires under the Shinko Tires brand.
Today, Shinko Tires produces up to 200,000 tires a month for sport bikes, cruisers, dirt bike and dual-sport. Shinko Tires also developed a sophisticated tire technology incorporated into their Shinko Radial Steel Belted motorcycle tires. The innovative structure provides zero-degree steel belted technology which reduces the weight and dynamic deformation of the tire while providing excellent high speed stability. Shinko Tires is the exclusive tire for Continental Motorcycle.
