You don't have to be world champion to get your hands on Michelin® racing tire technology. Pilot® Power tires use a rubber mix that was originally developed for MotoGP racing, and a tread pattern that covers less than 12% of the tire's surface. The result is a maximum lean angle of 50.6 degrees on dry pavement and 41.9 degrees in the wet, achieved with a stock sportbike.

  • Rubber compound reaches operating temperature quickly.
  • Incredible cornering grip.
  • Impressive durability for a high-performance tire.
  • Designed for high-performance sportbikes.
  • Suitable for street or track use.
  • MotoGP-derived rubber mix.
  • Tread pattern covers less than 12% of the tire surface, for phenomenal cornering adhesion.
  • Synthetic rubber mix derived from MotoGP tire technology, formulated to maintain consistent performance even at advanced stages of tire wear.
  • 50.6° maximum lean angle in the dry, as measured at the Michelin test track.
  • The Michelin Pilot Power ultra high-performance tire has a speed rating of W or up to 168 mph.

Best for hard periodic riding...

This new set from motosport.com will be my second on my '98 Suzuki GSF 600 [Bandit]. I ride often and have over 10k miles logged in the past 14 months. While I would love to see slightly longer life out of these tires but the trade off is quite acceptable - outstanding cornering traction, superior grab on stops & starts, and a smooth cruising ride. After market tweaks to my bike has the power up to a +/- 700cc and with the increased power to weight ratio these tires still stick like glue on a nice paved raceway, uh, er, I mean roadway! For the price it is hard to beat these treads and I have run Dunlop & Pirellis... bottom line, your money is well invested in these treads :)

VALUE defined!

These tires are some of the best all-around, and from a well known manufacturer. Granted, I don't do any stunts or break any records with my Busa, but sometimes even I have to move with purpose to avoid potential problems. MS shipped them quickly and in perfect condition. The price was roughly half of what I would have spent at the parts counter of any cycle shop in this town!

Michelin Pilot Power Tire Combo

One of the best tire combos on the market. I have used both the Pilot Power and Pilot Power 2CT with no complaints. I have upgraded all my motorcycles as these tires provide superior traction in all conditions during corning and hard breaking.

Awesome!!

Installed a few weeks ago on my FZ1. Great ride and handling. Cornering great. Some wet days with no issues. Heat up fast. What else to say but i should buy another set and store them for next time. Hope this style stays around because YOU CANNOT beat the quality for the price.

Amazing Tires

These are just awesome. Second set I've purchased, and still love them. Might go with the dual compound version of the same ones next time just to see if there's much of a difference.

Great Tires at a great price shipped fast!

This is about the 5th or 6th set of Pilot Powers I've had on my Kawasaki ZRX. I usually do at least 2 track days on each set, then the rest of the about 4-5K miles on the street. I have tried several other brands with varying results, and have come to the conclusion that these tires best suit my riding style on this bike. I'm positive that it would be a great tire for many other sport bikes too. Super confidence-inspiring, very sticky when hot, and never had an issue when cold. I believe this is what sets it apart from most other sport tires.

Should've bought these a long time ago!

I put these tires on my 2011 Kawasaki Versys. The stock tires weren't used up but the performance was terrible and they were wearing poorly. The Michelins have made it a different bike! No more downshift lock-ups or slipping around. The handling is now precise and predictable. Don't skimp on tires people! MotoSport.com shipping exceeded my expectations, again!

It is very hard to go wrong with a Michelin Pilot Power if you plan to be aggressive on it. It will still be sticky enough to do some spirited riding, but with the FZ1's power, you should have no problem breaking it loose to do some sliding around.

Are these a dullcompound tire?

The pilot power is not a dual compound tire.

No, single compound
Over 10 months ago Location: Nashville, TN
No, this are a single compound. These are good if you aren't on the highway much. If you frequent long stretches without cornering you might look at the Michelin 2CT, 3CT or Power Road 3.

I'm showing those are the correct stock size for a Hayabusa.

the F is for front and the R is for rear if that is what you are asking
Over 10 months ago Location: Nashville, TN
Z is the speed rating which is 149MPH+ for Z. R simply means it is a radial tire.
