Michelin StarCross MH3 Rear Tire Michelin StarCross MH3 Rear Tire Michael - Baton Rouge, Louisiana 5 out of 5 stars Dependable tire. "Ive had this tire for about 6 months now and i love it. Hooks up exceptionally in most conditions, spins a little in the slick stuff but what doesnt? I still have all my knobbies and its been through 6 harescrambles and multiple track rides. I would have replaced two dunlops before I will need to replace this one."

Michelin T63 Rear Tire Michelin T63 Rear Tire Wr250Ro - NJ 4 out of 5 stars Ran 3 sets of the Michelin T63 "I am on my 3rd set of this tire combo on my 12' wr 250r. I ride 70/30 street/off-road 3,000 miles per year. This tire is great for the price and when brand new I have ridden them on a pro motocross track and they can hold their own. When this tire hits the street I'd keep it on the street/trails. It wears into the road quickly and will not hold up to track conditions anymore. Currently I put these tires through the long run test. I have 2,700 miles on the set I have on my bike and they are shot. This tire will hold up nicely for up to 1500 miles of 70/30 hard riding. On the street they preform great considering the more off-road style tread pattern. I can lean it over in the turns and corner nicely without the fear of slipping. I would recommend to any dual sport rider with a similar riding style."

Michelin Motorcycle Tires

The Michelin name is nearly synonymous with automobile tires. The company was founded in 1888 and introduced the radial tire in 1946. Today, Michelin runs neck and neck for the world's largest tire manufacturer honors with Bridgestone. What perhaps is less known is the success of Michelin motorcycle tires. Michelin first proved itself in 1891 when Charles Terront won the longest non-stop bicycle race ever held by using removable tires invented by Michelin.

Today, Michelin motorcycle tires are world renowned for their performance and durability. Michelin's Scorcher tires are original equipment on select 2013 Harley-Davidson models and the Michelin Commander II provides nearly twice the mileage of competing cruiser tires. The new Michelin Pilot Power 3 Dual-Compound Sportbike street tire enhances riding performance, gives confidence in wet and dry conditions and provides 20 percent more tread life than the Pilot Power 2CT tire series.

Michelin motorcycle tires also proved influential to MotoGP. In 1984, the company brought radial construction and 10 years later multi-compound tires. From 1972 to 2008, Michelin secured 360 wins and from 1993 to 2006, the world champion rode on Michelin motorcycle tires.
