I have insalled an aftermarket slip on pipe, a K&N air filter and Dynojets stage one jet kit and my Suzuki Katana performs great. The only problem I almost had was drilling the plugs off of the air screws, Be very carefull drilling those plugs as the screws are very close."

When I worked on the carbs, found out that the idle jet was clogged up, I cleaned it out. Once that was done, I installed the springs, needles and main jets that the kit came with and adjusted the air to fuel mixture like the instructions said. Now the bike turns on like the day it was brand new. It took me about six hours to do everything. I don't even have to put the choke on to start the bike. Maybe, when it is very cold I will have to put it in choke. Took a five minute ride and I can tell that my 750 has a little more power."

If you can do basic maintenance on your bike and dont mind removing fairings you should be ok. On my 04 cbr it was a little trickier as the injectors were on the bottom under the gas tank, so I had to have a little help and it was a tight fit. Helped even out a rough idle. You really should finish the set and then get your bike tuned however. Mine runs a little rich now."

I'm not a mechanic, but I do work with tools all the time. If you don't have much knowledge about carbs, then I would highly recommend watching some videos on the internet before you attempt this rejet yourself. The instructions are okay, but again, if you don't know what each part is named, you would have a tough time trying to follow the instructions. One tip that saved my butt was when it came to removing the float bowl on the bottom side of the carb, was to loosen the gasket behind the carb and pull it away from the header to get access to the two screws on the back side of the carb. If you don't do this, it is pretty much physically impossible to get to those two screws. Not to mention that the four screws that hold the float bowl on, are on extremely tight and are very easy to strip! I was almost defeated by one of them because I stripped it completely, but was finally able to removed it with some pliers. When you have the carb pulled away from the header, do yourself a favor and do the idle mixture screw adjustment then too, because it's very tough to reach with the carb is attached. The little tool works perfect that they provide, but as I had already reattached the carb, I marked the side of the tool with a sharpie so I knew how many times I was turning it etc. All in all, if you are not mechanically inclined, DON"T attempt this yourself, bring it to a shop and pay them to do it. The end results are great, I can feel a decent difference in power, especially at higher speeds, the gear ratio feels bigger, and I barely use the choke, if at all, when warming the bike up for a minute or two. Sorry for such a long review lol!"
