Longevity and good wet performance
Highly recommended. This is the longest-lasting set of sport-touring tires I've ever experienced. As of this writing, it's been more than 15,000 miles since installing the BT023 in front (GT-version) and back. The GT has a different tread pattern than the standard version. Prior to the BT023, I had been using the BT021 and was lucky to get 4,000 miles out of them. While the current set began to square-off around the 8,000 mile marke, they've continued to perform well in both wet and dry conditions. As a year-around commuter, these have quickly become my favorite sport-touring tires.

A w rated tire is actually a higher speed rating than the z and the w is the highest.
