Great Boots
These boots fit perfectly, as reviews elsewhere state they run about one size big. In most shoes and Alpinestars Tech 10 boots I wear a 14. The largest the Scout comes in is a 13, but they fit perfectly. The only issue I had was the center buckle was vastly too short . I called Alpinestars here in the USA and they sent me out new buckles that arrived in 2 days free of charge. I would need to more time to test durability fully, but I gave them a 5 based on construction and experience with Alpinestars products. They have good feel for the controls and they felt broke in almost immediately.

Well Worth the Price
I spent a long time pouring over reviews before buying these boots, and I definitely made the right choice! First, looks -- these boots look killer, even better in person than they look on-line. Second, comfort -- these boots instantly felt comfortable, almost as comfortable as my broken-in Vasque hiking boots. I spent a little time adjusting the straps for a perfect fit, but there was very little break-in required. Even on my brother's little Ninja 250 (I rode a CB550 last summer and am saving up for a V-Strom 650 now), I could feel the shifter and brake with no problem. I would probably adjust the shifter up a little for a better fit on the Ninja, but my brother rides in street shoes, so he might have it adjusted a little low. Third, protection -- the boots are well made and very sturdy. Unlike some of the other boots I was considering (as well as the hiking boots I wore last summer), these boots come well up the shins, offering good protection to your leg as well as your ankle and foot. Finally, quality -- they're Alpinestars. I have yet to see an A* product that wasn't extremely well made, and the Scout boots are no exception to that rule. The leather is high quality, and the construction is great. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase, and would highly recommend these boots to others.
