There is one major flaw in this jacket, and that is the back protection. Many protection jackets have a joint in the back protection near the bottom so your spine can move freely; however, this one does not. When riding my ATV, I do not notice it, even with bar risers, but when racing my dirt bike, I do. In my experience, you tend to sit more upright on a dirt bike than on a quad, especially in corners. The back protection is curved in a way that forces me be slightly hunched over. Instead of concentrating on my riding, I was frequently attempting to straighten out my back. Not only is this unbelievably annoying, it is also dangerous. I have also noticed that when I am in that slightly hunched over position, I have dramatically less control over my bike. I was riding laps slower than I ever had before, and the moment I took it off, things got better. The rest of the jacket works well and is not overly restrictive. But, all in all, because of my experience, I cannot recommend this product. You can remove the back piece, which is what I did, and it fixed the problem, but now I do not have even the slightest bit of back/spine protection. If you are riding ATV's, or participating in a type of motorcycling activity that does not require you to move a lot or sit with your back completely or almost completely straight, than this product should work for you.
