Excellent Back protector

I purchased this back protector for added protection while doing track days on my 2011 R1. I thought it would be bulky under my leather suit. But once I got my suit on and zipped up I forgot I even had it on. And of course Alpinestars does not disappoint when it comes to quality. If you need a good back protector for track days, THIS is it.

Back Saver

I had to do a 10 hour ride to get my bike from Nevada to Wyoming and i have a herniated disk. Mind you this is an "07 CBR600RR. Not the most comfortable cross country bike in the world. Due to the back protector with the kidney belt i felt no lower back fatigue what so ever. I wear it just about anywhere around town that i go and i feel, how should i say, "BIONIC" when i have it on. It adds that bit of a safer than normal feeling and i love it.

Best back protector

This is one of the best back protectors. It is rated ce level 2. Not too thick, and it flexes. I had to take the cheapo foam back protector out of my Joe Rocket jacket as they both would not fit--if your jacket is loose enough to fit both, then your jacket is way too big! Should be tight to hold the armor in the shoulders and elbows in the correct locations, see how tight the professional racers wear their leather?

Great Product!

This is a great product, very comfortable and is doesn't restrict any movement. After the first couple laps on a track day I forgot I even had it on!

You would be doubling up on the back protetection. It might fit but not sure why you'd want to do that. This doesn't include a kidney belt.
