Outstanding product
I purchased the Sentinel Jacket and Sentinel nomex pants just before a 10 day trip to the 2011 Sturgis Rally. As luck would have it, we were in our rain gear before sunset on the first day of riding, and used it during at least 7 of the 10 days. It performed perfectly, even in sleet and heavy rain that caught us on the Needles highway. I especially liked the vented back pleat and zipper vents in the armpits. These kept me comfortable even during the warmer parts of the day. The hood feature is the best I've seen. It's a nylon stretch-type fabric that holds the waterproof collar up. Only the collar is waterproof. The fabric thats under the helmet seemed to be very breathable. After one trip the durability appears to be very good. I'll have to see how it holds up over the next few years.

Recommended Jacket/Pants
Provides great protection both as a windbreaker and keeping you dry. I'm from Seattle area so we definitely see rain. I have the matching pants and they're warm enough on a 40's day to wear over regular jeans. Features I like are the pants zip to the coat, and the coat has a stretchable hood built in that can be unrolled from the collar to help keep your head warmer. Plus, you don't feel the water dripping down your back from the helmet. Both upper and lowers are built from 3M material so you know the quality is good. Material/Styling is simular to a Northface coat IMO.
I commonly wear the coat with a hoody and am content. Both the coat and pants run a little large but they're technically designed to wear over warmer gear. I'm 5'9" 180lbs and wear 32/32 jean and I have a Medium jacket, Large Pants. However if I were to buy the pants again I would go with the Medium size because the Large pants are a bit long.

Good Jacket .. and not ugly
These were a(lso .. we bought the trousers) a bit of a surprise... they were inexpensive AND they did what they said they would do... keep us dry. Added benefit is that they also keep our legs warm in the Belgian autumn fog... all round worth it
