There is not an "upgraded" ignition system available for your 1990 GSXF1100. For optimum performance and easy starting you will want to make sure the bike is jetted correctly and the carburetors are synchronized properly. You will want to also make sure the valves are adjusted to the correct specs. The stock ignition systems are very good and as long as it is in good condition, would not make the bike hard to start or run poorly when it is cold out.
