You don't have to be world champion to get your hands on Michelin® racing tire technology. Pilot® Power tires use a rubber mix that was originally developed for MotoGP racing, and a tread pattern that covers less than 12% of the tire's surface. The result is a maximum lean angle of 50.6 degrees on dry pavement and 41.9 degrees in the wet, achieved with a stock sportbike.

  • Rubber compound reaches operating temperature quickly.
  • Incredible cornering grip.
  • Impressive durability for a high-performance tire.
  • Designed for high-performance sportbikes.
  • Suitable for street or track use.
  • MotoGP-derived rubber mix.
  • Tread pattern covers less than 12% of the tire surface, for phenomenal cornering adhesion.
  • Synthetic rubber mix derived from MotoGP tire technology, formulated to maintain consistent performance even at advanced stages of tire wear.
  • 50.6° maximum lean angle in the dry, as measured at the Michelin test track.
  • The Michelin Pilot Power ultra high-performance tire has a speed rating of W or up to 168 mph.

Extremely easy
Tires were delivered quickly and efficient. The quality of the tires are great. Sticky and durable. They wear out about the normal rate for just street use. I would recommend these tires to anyone. great price and great service from motosport.com

Definitely Buy
These are my second set of Pilot Powers and I absolutely love them. Like everyone else seems to say about these tires, they have great traction and get sticky very quickly. The life on the tires are pretty good and lasts a good while depending on the way you ride and might I say, I like to push my 03 ZX636R hard. The best part of the whole deal is the combo price. Just over $200 is a steal on these tires especially with free 3 day shipping. I would definitely recommend these tires to anyone who wants an affordable set of tires for cheap!

These are great tires lots of grip and a low warmup time. I bought this as part of a combo and was able to purchase both a front and back for the price of just the back at my local mega store. Shipping was fast and free, will definitely get these from here again.

Affordable street tires
Pilot Powers ae great for the mountains and street riding.Heat up fairly quick and grip great in the curves.I would not recomend these for the track.Did a day at Talladega and saw they were not the best but did do allright. All in all I will continue to buy these tires for my GSXR and run them on the twisty roads in north Georgia. For the price you can't beat them.Definate buy!

Super Sticky
Very sticky on take off and while leaning. I had the stock tires on my K9 GSXR 750 for about 2 years and I was tired of not having any traction. These tires are amazing! The bike rides so much better.

Sticky
this tire is real nice, and heats up quick. not the greatest tire for ride looking to stunt with it, but awsome from a knee dragger. it gets u in a turn and just pulls you through it. the harder you twist it, the harder it directs you, love it, just wish i went one size bigger.

Whats the difference between the pilot power and the pilot power 2ct???
MotoSport Staff Expert
Over 3 years ago Location: Portland, OR
The 2ct is a dual compound tire which has a harder compound in the middle and a soft compound in the edges. The pilot power is a singe compound tire.
Over 3 years ago Location: Phoenix, AZ
2ct have softer sides made for the track an the powers are a lil stronger on the side made for street
