You don't have to be world champion to get your hands on Michelin® racing tire technology. Pilot® Power tires use a rubber mix that was originally developed for MotoGP racing, and a tread pattern that covers less than 12% of the tire's surface. The result is a maximum lean angle of 50.6 degrees on dry pavement and 41.9 degrees in the wet, achieved with a stock sportbike.

  • Rubber compound reaches operating temperature quickly.
  • Incredible cornering grip.
  • Impressive durability for a high-performance tire.
  • Designed for high-performance sportbikes.
  • Suitable for street or track use.
  • MotoGP-derived rubber mix.
  • Tread pattern covers less than 12% of the tire surface, for phenomenal cornering adhesion.
  • Synthetic rubber mix derived from MotoGP tire technology, formulated to maintain consistent performance even at advanced stages of tire wear.
  • 50.6° maximum lean angle in the dry, as measured at the Michelin test track.
  • The Michelin Pilot Power ultra high-performance tire has a speed rating of W or up to 168 mph.

Budget Sport Tire
I put this tire on the bike. I really enjoy the feedback from the road that I get since installation. I have about 2000 miles on the bike now. Still impressed for the price I paid. I would buy it again.

Always good
I have been using the Pilot Powers for a while now and they are the best all around tire. Mileage isn't the greatest but I would rather pay a little bit more in the long run than risk the tires not performing.

Great Tire, Better Deal
These are great tires lots of grip and a low warmup time. I bought this as part of a combo and was able to purchase both a front and back for the price of just the back at my local mega store. Shipping was fast and free, will definitely get these from here again.

A good buy
This is a decently priced tire that grips the road pretty well and won't wear out in 2 months. I hate paying people to do something I'm capable of doing myself, so I mounted the tire myself and must say this is the easiest tire I've ever done!! It slid onto the rim with ease and the bead sealed tight without having to wrestle with it. I wouldn't try racing with it, but definitely a good road tire.

Excellent Tire
This is the only tire that I will use on my '02 CBR 954. I have installed 3 sets of these tires and they are excellent in all conditions. I live in the northeast and ride into November and the tires still have grip even in the cold. I will most likely not switch to different tires. I have 25000 miles on my bike and about 20000 of those are on Pilot Powers.

Real good in the bumps
this front runner is awsome on the not so smooth roads, its holds its ground when there isnt any. would recomend this tire matched with a michi rear anyday for curvy enthusiast

Very good tire!
Although I don't have a lot of experience with street bike tires, these seem to do the job quite well. Quick warm up and good grip through all lean angles that I've got enough guts to put them through.

GREAT STREET TIRES
THESE TIRES ARE GREAT FOR THE STREET AND TRACK DAYS. YOU WOULD HAVE A VERY HARD TIME REACHING THERE LIMIT ON THE STREET.

Soft perfection
The second best you can do for carving the canyons in most weather conditions. I am partial to Perelli Diablos but most of my riding mates prefer the Michelin. It is a bit soft, takes a fair ways to warm up and wears quickly. But they never "grease" out or go hard on you and can be used on the occasional light rain day.

2CT vs High performance???
What is the DIFFERENCE with the 2CT and the High performance? They seem to have the same attributes, so what really distinguishes them?

This is actually the Pilot Power. The description is incorrect and will be fixed. Thanks for catching this for us.
