It seemed like a good idea at the time. I ride a Suzuki DR-Z400S dual sport, and wanted to ditch the stock turn signals so that I wouldn't have to take the time to remove them when I wanted to do SERIOUS off-roading. I had already replaced the original (huge) fender/brake/tail/plate combo with a (small) LED brake/tail/plate, and mounted/wired it in such a way that it could be R&R'd in a matter of minutes. Figured if I could mount these "turn signals" [sic] to the license plate, it would eliminate having to remove the turn signals separately. But when I received the lights, I saw that the packaging was labelled as "marker lights," not as "turn signals," due to their low light output. But what good is a turn signal that no one can see? I also assumed they were LED rather than incandescent. My bad for ASSUMING. Returned them and got a license frame with LED turn signals built into the bottom. Much better! Unless you are actually looking for MARKER LIGHTS, I would avoid these at all costs.
