Love the pants
I'm a little over 6' tall so finding riding pants is no easy feat for me. ESPECIALLY FEMALE riding pants. These are great. The 35" inseam is *just* long enough. 36" would be even better but I'm VERY happy with this product.

Inseam on "Medium"?
what is the inseam on the medium? Also in the waist taken from the smallest part of my waist or from where the pants sit?

Per the Joe Rocket size chart the inseam has a "height adjustable hem" and is adjustable from 31", 33" and 35". For you waist measurement you want measure where the pants sit.

That is up to you. You could use them as such, but not over something like jeans unless you ordered up at least one size. A thin baselayer would be fine with your normal size.
