Product Description

  • The Icon Proshield (IC-02) is fitted with a helmet shield lock to keep your shield securely closed. Sideplates (sold separately) mount to each side of the proshield for a more custom, finished look. The proshield will not fit Alliance SS, Alliance SSR, Mainframe, or Domain (1) helmets.

Is the tint darker?
I recently purchased the RST Blue shield because it's what I had before and it looks great on my silver ICON Airframe helmet. However, I had noticed the tinting on the shield is darker than my previous shield making it harder for people to see in without reducing nighttime visibility. This is great for me as I had wanted that with the previous shield. Fit and finish is great. I haven't had a problem with the mirroring coming off when I clean the lens, like others have stated. Guess I'm just lucky. MotoSport did it again with its great service, item selection, pricing, and quick shipping!

Amazing shield that does GREAT
I have owned several Icon helmets and always get the fog free shields. I love them because they make the helmet look great and I have little to no actual fog build on them. If its really cold I might see a little moisture on the top of the shield but when I pop it open an inch or so it goes away within seconds. When I am cruising down the road I can have it open and not have any problems at all.

I have an Icon Domain 2 Serpacant and like it so much, but for the RST silver shield ... Don't touch and clean, only good for a museum !!!
