Too much hassle
" Maybe I'm using this wrong but I don't think I got cable lube down into the clutch cable. I did get plenty of lube all over the perch though. I'd also hoped to lube the hot start on my two CRF's but there isn't enough room to get the luber onto the hot start cable. After trying this I think I'll just replace my cables once a year and skip trying to lube them. "

Almost
" Not sure if the mx cables are to thin or they just made the tool too big but i have to tighten the sucker up with pliers to get it to seal around both throttle and clutch cables, would work great for thicker cables but not for regular dirt bike cables. "

Sticky cable stopper
" I had been removing my cables and soaking them in gasoline until I bought this little piece of enginuity. There are no instructions, but it is a no brainer to mount. Snug it up and stick the end of your lube straw into the hole provided on the luber. Wrap a small towel around it so excess fluid doesn't spray in your face and only squirt very short spurts from the can into the luber. You can start to hear the air seeping out as the fluid starts working its way down the inner shaft of the cable. It works so well that I did all 7 of my bikes the day I bought it. They were in dire need! "

" I have used a few of these cable cleaners and this one is by far the worst. No matter how hard I tighten the screws, fluid still sprays everywhere. "

" In 35+ years of owning different motorcycles and 4 wheelers, I've never had a cable luber untill now. Unit is simple to use and seems to work as designed, although your spray lube will come out around the edges somewhat. Just keep a rag around it so you don't drip lube on your paint or plastic. I don't know of any other way to get the lube in the cables and it does that quite well. "

Easy to use
" Really helps with getting those stubborn cables lubricated. The only thing I dont like is the thumb screws seem to be too small and are hard to get the pressure you want on the cable to seal the lube in. Beats the spray the end and go method though. "

Handy little thing
" What an ingenious little tool! Properly lubed cables greatly extend their life and reduce rider fatigue. And this tool makes the job very easy. For anybody who doesn't know how they work, it basically seal off the end of the cable and force-feeds the lube down the entire cable very quickly & efficiently. Good stuff! "

Very helpful...
" When my throttle is sticking a bit, this definately helps clean the cables. Same with the clutch. "
Do they make a larger size unit to work with Harley Davidson larger size cables.
