Product Description

  • Please note: Tire sizes vary by ride, please check your current tire and wheel sizes before placing the order. If you have any questions, please call Customer Service at 1-866-677-7338.
  • The new Q2 incorporates race-tested advancements that add up to a vastly superior tire equally at home on the street or the track.
  • Intuitive Response Profile (IRP) technology intuitively allows the rider greater latitude in line choice while cornering and provides amazingly linear steering no matter what shape, speed or camber the corner, and at all lean angles.
  • Radical new profile puts down a bigger footprint at extreme lean angles while also allowing greater lean angles and higher corner speeds to provide substantially better grip and handling.
  • Dunlop's advanced Multi-Tread technology combines the benefits of a tough, long-wearing center compound for increased mileage with a special lateral-grip compound on each shoulder for superior cornering traction.
  • New carcass construction includes newly designed continuous hex beads that are both lighter and stronger to increase cornering stability.
  • Q2 rear tire features a newly developed, stiffer version of Dunlop's Jointless Band (JLB) construction that utilizes a continuously wound aramid belt for reduced carcass distortion, plus stiffer overall construction to meet high-performance demands and provide a more consistent contact patch.

Stick Icky
I have a lot faith in this tire. My first track day was on this tire. I had maybe 2k miles previous road time on the same set before I had the track day and they still had great grip. I would estimate the life time in the medium range. There are videos available on-line you can search for that will explain the science/technology used to create this tire. Material is easy to understand and common sense. Some will say this tire rides slower than other brands/models but I would say thats just confidence issues that person was having when trying something new. I personally like the tread patteren for that "what if" situation when sand or other small debris some how become a problem.

Good track day tire
A good track day tire. Good grip. Wears a little faster than the Michelin SC2's, though, which have comparable grip. I ride a 600.
