  • The Dunlop Sportmax Roadsmart tire is a sport touring tire that offers class leading all weather grip to keep you bike on the road rain or shine.

Very Good Tire
" I bought these tires as a combo set for my 08 Yamaha R1. I ride daily and after putting over 7000 miles on the tires they are just now starting to square off. Good set of tires. Placing my order for a new set. "

Super Tire
" I have this tire on my 2008 Triumph Sprint ST. I'm approaching 10,000 miles without cupping and still good grip, though not able to pass inspection from the general wear. In the heat of summer, I spent a day and a half on two different race tracks and the tire performed better than anyone expected, and they already had about 6000 miles on them. When riding my wife, we routinely corner out to the edge of the tire with no sense of instability. Rain grip is great. Wear is even. Dry traction is as good as tires I've used advertised as track oriented tires. Between the superior handling characteristics, excellent traction, and good tread life, I don't think I could find a better tire for this bike. "

Roadsmart Touring tires
" I mounted these tires on a Kawasaki ZZR1200 right before a 2K mile trip to OKlahoma. I purchased these tires because they are a dual compound tire and are advertiesed to have longer life. Also they are advertised to be better in the rain then normal sport tires. During the trip the bike was loaded with a very full top case that weighed about 50lbs. This added a great deal of weight to the rear tire. The contact patch of the rear tire became wide enough that it ran off into the soft side rubber causing worn strips to either side of the harder center rubber. It did not seem to effect handling of the bike though. Nor does it still. In wet conditions the tires have plunty of grip and seem to move the water easily away from the center of the tire. I did spin the rear wheel on takeoff once but any tire probably would do the same thing. I have about 3k miles on these tire's cross section is still mostly round making bike roll still almost like new. I'm looking forward to the next 5K miles. "
