D616s
I ride a Versys all year long: heat, rain, snow. Ice is the only thing that stops me. I mounted the 180/55zr17 on the back and the standard size on the front since they do not offer another option. The back tire lasted almost one year and wore out during a trip. I got 8000 miles out of the back but, pulled into the shop with the cords showing. I am still riding the front which I expect at least 10k miles from. The tires stick much better than stock. Rain traction is excellent. Dirt traction is not bad for a mostly street tire. I paid just over $200 for the set. The price has gone up and I'm not going to pay nearly $300 for another set. I want more mileage than the back tire offered (especially with the latest higher price). I like the tread design as it works well and is not overly loud on the road. If you don't mind changing your tires every year...this might work for you.

Worst tires to buy
These tires suck. Do not buy them. They do not stick in the corners as well as the other brands. I am not talking track days but just enthusiastic sport riding like we all like to do. If you push to hard the bike will feel like it will not continue to hold and does slide a little. Scary for us who are not professional riders.

Good tire for the price
ive had 2 of the rear and 1 of the front. Ive averaged about 5-6k out of each back tire, the front neted me the life of both rear which some say is normal but it cuped horibly at the end of its life which might be expected. They are awsome rain tires. I comute daily 38 miles 1 way all highway the only reason i swaped tires was for the promise of more milage out of the michilin pilot road 2. the grip on these tires was very nice, not as sticky as say a power ct or a metzler m3 but for a sport touring tires very nice. If your like me and do 90% highway you will flaten the center out, i did on both rears at about 3k. overall these were great tires i just needed more milage.
