D3 grips are very good

it took time after installing them to get some seat time due to a back surgery. but! after some good miles that would usually have my hand and right forarm numb from the happy to say that i just started to experience the tingling after that distance! absolutely love these grips. it wont remove all the vibration. but it was far better than i thought it would be. 5stars from me for sure. and i did have to take my dremel and simply remove the outer lip of plastic sleeve so throttle grip would slide on. i suggest liberal dose of WD-40 and straight push. thanks driven for a wonderful product.

2001 suzuki katana 600 FIT?

I love the gold color and style of these grips. When i checked it said i may need to shave my throttle down a little and in doing so. it never felt tight so i just applied some grip glue and that solved that problem.

Not sure about these yet.

I have yet to ride with these so I'll review the install. This was the first pair of grips I've replaced so that being said they either aren't easy to get on or I didn't use the best method, seem better than the stock ones though.

Love them

Love these grips they look amazing and feel awesome the only bad is if you use the bar strap if you trailer your bike the rubber tears a little but you can get replacements for cheap

Will these or the d axis grips fit a g2 ergonomics 125 mm throttle tube?
MotoSport Staff
Over 7 months ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
They will fit the tube but the grips are 5mm shorter than the length of the tube. If you can stand the small gap this will create between the grip and the throttle housing, then they will fit fine.

Will these fit an 06 cbr600rr?
Over 8 months ago Location: McDonough, GA, USA
Yes they fit great, you have to sand down the throttle tube a little to get the grip on. When you remove your old grip make sure you clean the bar ends good with break cleaner. When you install the D3's give the inside of the grips a good soaking of the break cleaner and the bars and the grips will slide on and no grip glue need. On the throttle side will take a little more pressure to get on but they will slide on. They are the best grips I have used to date.

Yes they will fit, like the customer answer states, you will need to sand the throttle tube some and then they will go right on.

Will these D3 grip work on my 2010 Kawasaki Ninja zx6r with no modifications?
MotoSport Staff
Over 9 months ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
These technically are the right dimensions for your bike but, some bikes, but not all, have an OEM throttle tube design that contains a ridge or ridges on the throttle tube itself. In order to install any aftermarket grip besides the OEM replacement, these ridges must be removed. Common ways people remove them are by sanding or using a rotary tool, and least common of all is replacing the tube itself with an aftermarket throttle tube. The Kawasaki's are one of the bikes that do have these ridges.
