RIDING TUNES
I PURCHASED THIS SYSTEM A FEW MONTHS AGO AND WANTED TO WAIT A WHILE BEFORE GIVING MY REIVIEW. I WOULD LIKE TO SAY MOTOSPORT DID THEIR PART IN THE ORDERING PROCESS AND GOT IT TO ME QUICKLY. NOW ONTO THE PRODUCT ITSELF. THE SYSTEM WAS VERY SIMPLE TO INSTALL. FITS INSIDE OF '03 GIXXER 1000 TRUNK NO PROBLEM. THERE ARE ONLY TWO ISSUES I HAD WITH SYSTEM. ONE THE WIRES WERE NOT LONG ENOUGH SO I HAD TO SPLICE INTO THEM. SECOND AS FAR AS PERFORMANCE. SYSTEM IS DECENT, ( CAN HEAR IT WITH HELMET ON @ 75-80 MPH) BUT LACKS ANY BASS. WHILE I UNDERSTAND ITS NOT GOING TO HAVE THAT LIMITATION. OVERALL I LIKE IT AND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO OTHERS.

Speaker Quality/durability?
Lets say it starts raining or snowing..cause i live in chicago and its almost april and its still snowing -_- but if it rains on them alot would that be a big deal or when i wash my bike..i wana know that theyll hold up. Imm pretty sure theyll fit an 06 gsxr 750 do i need to do anything to the speakers maintenance wise? Thanks :D

These will hold up very well in various conditions. Check out this feedback after the product was subjected to various weather tests. "The supplied specimen was subjected to a salt spray test in accordance with ASTM B117 standards. The specimen was exposed for 500 hours with data collected at smaller intervals. According to ASTM B117 standards, at the point of significant corrosion, the units are determined to have failed and pulled from the chamber as to not contaminate other products." So, for 500 hours of a salt spray the speakers worked with no loss in performance. I however wouldn't assume these are something to submerse in water but will hold up in rainy conditions.
