  • The Bridgestone Battlax BT003 Racing Street tire is the ultimate street tire that handles the back road twisties during the week, and the knee dragging hairpins on the weekend.
  • The Battlax BT003 Racing Street model tire was created after the Bridgestone BT003 Racing tire, but handles the street demands such as uneven or wet pavement.
  • Bridgestone took their MotoGP technology and imbedded them into the BT003 to produce a dual compound tire designed for the your streets.
  • Dual compound technology on the BT003 tire provides a higher mileage tire while generating exceptional corner grip.
  • A unique Mono Spiral Belt construction found on the BT003 creates a continuous belt around the tire, eliminating overlapping to reduce weight and increase high bump absorption.
  • Bridgestone developed a Silca rich compound that heats the BT003RS tire quicker, providing traction from the time your motorcycle's engine cranks.
  • Super Sport bikes need another Bridgestone created technology. The Ultraction Compound on the BT003RS gives the best possible grip performance on public roads or dry circuits.
  • The center S shaped grooves on the front BT003 tire improves contact feel and braking grip, while the longer shoulder grooves enhance wet grip and shock absorption on public roads.
  • Diving into a corner easily is crucial to cut down lap times or avoid street obstacles so Bridgestone reduced the negative ratio in the shoulder part of the tread of the BT003.
  • Note: the Bridgestone BT003RS tire is sold individually. Super Sport sizes consist of the front 120/70ZR17, rear 180/55ZR17, 190/50ZR17, and 190/55ZR17.

Track Day
" These tires worked as well as slicks at Auto Club Speedway. Extreme lean angle, predictable and controllable sliding made fast lap times a pleasure. "

good track tire, but they wear quickly
" First the pluses: front & rear balanced with no weights - they are very uniform. The carcass is very compliant and the feel it totally neutral. Grip is very good, but as other reviewers commented, psi is very importantt & the 190/55 is better for cornering. The down side is the 003 rear doesn’t last. I went through 1/2 the side tread in one track day. The center looks brand new, but I'll be showing bars on the side in about 500 miles of canyons + the 1 track day. There is no noticeable hwy wear. If you're a street guy, the 016 is the pick. It will do everything the 003 does on the street and last 3x longer doing it. "

" I currently run the R version of this tire on my cbr1000rr. Very predictable with excellent feed back. Switch up to the 55 instead of the 50 in the rear and get faster turn in and deeper lean angles. good choice for attacking twisties!!! "

" These tires arent for people that want a touring tire. I love these tires. In fact they arent for you. I'll buy them all. Your loss my gain! Seriously, there isnt a better aggressive street rider tire out there. I agree with Dave's review running these between 32-34 psi. Great tire. "

These tires dont play
" These tires provide a greater grip than you BT-016's. The rubber is a touch softer so the life will be significantly shorter. I feel more confident with these tires over the BT-016, and I like the Bstone neural handling. Tire pressure is extremely important on these tires so the back tire does not get over/under heated. Most good track pressures are around 30-32 hot F/R. For aggressive street riding I am using 32-34, as I did with the 016's and haven't had a slip yet. I am running these tires on a 1000, 600 pressures might be different, not sure, check with other riders at the track. "
What are the rubber compounds?
Asked by BobbysR1, San Diego
As it states in the description this is a high performance tire with dual compound construction. That means the center of the tire has a harder compound than the edges. That is all relative because this is more of a track tire so the whole tire will be softer than a sport touring tire.

this tire is a medium-soft in the center and soft on the sides hope this helps.

Are these the race versions or the racing street ??
Asked by cbrfn
We only sell street legal tires. Bridgestone describes them as ultra-high performance street and track-day tires.
