Product Description

Convenience meets confidence with Bell's all-new Revolver modular helmet. By harnessing the design horsepower of the marquee Bell Star and the extensive R&D know-how of Bell's Santa Cruz, California engineering team, they've made a flip-up that's as beautiful as it is functional.

One look and it's easy to see the family resemblance - the new-school shaping and contours that are the signature of the Star (as well as the value-minded Vortex and new mid-line RS-1) are clearly evident and functional in the Revolver.

Like its siblings, the Revolver features Bell's Velocity Flow Ventilation system to usher cooling air through the helmet. The system's use of precisely-placed flow separator combined with its truncated shape make for an inherently stable aerodynamic signature. The Revolver includes modular-specific features like the integrated internal Sun Shade - a short, dark shield independent of the main shield - which drops down with the flick of a lever to fight bright sunlight. A robust, easy-to-actuate button opens the Revolver's mechanism allowing the chinbar to flip up. The helmet also uses the world's quickest, easiest-to-use shield changing system - Bell's ClickRelease - allowing the option of more than a dozen tints, including the astounding Transitions SOLFX photochromic shield.

  • Internal sun shade offers "on the fly" protection from the sun without having to stop and change face shields.
  • Velocity Flow ventilation system with FlowAdjust for maximum ventilation and temperature control.
  • Light weight composite polycarbonate alloy shell.
  • Super stable aerodynamic signature resists buffeting and lift.
  • Integrated speaker pockets for audio speakers.
  • Contour cut cheek pads for superior fit and comfort.
  • ClickRelease for the fastest, easiest, tool-free shield swaps ever.
  • NutraFog II superior anti-fog, anti-scratch and UV protected shield.
  • New redesigned eyeport seal dramatically reduces wind noise.
  • Removable and washable interior for maximum comfort.
  • Exclusive Magnefusion magnetic strap keeper.
  • New chin curtain prevents cold air from entering the helmet.
  • Padded chin strap with D-ring closure.
  • Comes with clear face shield only.
  • Certifications: DOT.
  • Approximate weight at 1750 grams.
  • Five-year warranty.

Outstanding modular helmet value

Although I haven't had as much time as I would like to use this helmet I have full confidence in recommending it. I also have a regular Bell Vortex with the flying tiger graphic scheme, so I have that to compare it with, as well as a current Shoe RF-1100. I wish I had discovered this helmet sooner. It is extremely feature rich. The flip up modular function is new to me, but really adds a lot of versatility. Besides the outer shield, which is also availlable in several optional tint schemes this helmet features an easy to use flip down tinted eye shield. I have found this to work extremely well and allows me to have the benefit of a tinted shield in bright conditions that easily flips up out of the way when its darker. This flip up shield is also completely useable while the front modular shell is flipped up. Talk about unbeatible versatility, this is it! The helmet fits true to size (mine is a size large) and is easy to put on and features the magnetic flapping strap restraint like the Bell Vortex helmet. The venting is quite adequate, and I expected more wind noise with a modular design. But Bell has done something right, because the from the wind noise - you'd never know it was a modular design. It's also not noticably more drafty than a conventional full face in colder weather, which I think is a huge plus. It looks and feels like a high quality product with outstanding graphics, and feels like it shoud be a much more expensive product.

Bell helmet

Love the built in sunglasses Love the modular helmet Love the style of the helmet Over all an ok helmet but poor quality the magnet that is used to keep helmet fastener from flapping in the wind fell off in first use of the helmet , the rubber on the front chin pad also fell off shortly after purchase The helmet is very noisy almost need ear plugs at speeds above 70 MPH I love the modular helmet for what it is and continue to use it because I like the features , no need to carry sunglasses that give you sore ears and headache from squeezing under the helmet , excellent to lift up helmet to have a conversation without havering to take helmet off , nice removable liner to wash I would highly recommend looking into several before you buy and find one that is rated quiet as I was not aware that noise is a common problem with modular helmets

Nice helmet, but sizing way off

I like the helmet, but will have to donate it to my son. Even though I bought a XXL, it is still too small - must be a Bell thing.

Great buy!

I wasn't originally going to buy a modular helmet, but after talking to a few other riders they seemed more convenient to use. Bell does one thing and does it well, which is why I decided to buy from them. They are also a great value. I didn't feel like paying more than double the price for a Shoei either. The helmet fits great and is very comfortable. Just follow the size chart and you should be fine. It looks just as slick as a normal full face, but if you need to itch your face or are just hot waiting at a red light just pull up the front rather than taking off the entire helmet. Motosport was great too as they seem to be one of the few companies that will exchange a helmet, not that I needed to. The shipping was fast and customer service e-mailed me back within the hour to answer some questions before I purchased anything.

How does this helmet size?
Currently wearing a 2X Fly tourist. Is this helmet sized similarly? 7 5/8 hat size here. Thanks

For this helmet, a 7-5/8 hat size would put you in a large according to Bell's sizing. You must keep in mind that head shape will have a lot to with the sizing and fit of a helmet too, and it is impossible to guarantee sizing or comfort/fit without actually trying the helmet on.
