Great helmet - too short chin bar
If you don't know already, Arai Corsair V's are the top of the line helmet. Most people swear by them. I love them and have owned several. Unfortunately for me, while the helmet shape fits me perfectly, the chin bar is disconcertingly close to my mouth, in that if I pucker up for a big "kiss" I can touch the inside of the chin bar with my lips (and no I don't have Mick Jagger lips). I worry that in a frontal impact that my face would move forward and strike the front of the helmet. I understand that the inside of the chin bar is lined with EPS foam to absorb impact, but I'd rather not contact anything in the first place! I don't have a big jaw or misshapen head, and other helmets (Shark, Bell Star among others) don't present the same problem. The venting is fantastic and the quality is second to none, but this sole fitting problem made me return the helmet. Something to keep in mind when you try on helmets...
